wody
why doesn't magnacharger cover the 05 ss with their warranty. if you read the warranty it says all wheel drive vehicles aren't covered. any 05's supercharged?
TBSS
My guess is the drivetrain already has potential issues before you even bolt on a blower, so they will not cover a complicated drivetrain like the SS's. Keep in mind that this is not the warranty on the blower itself, which is automatically covered for 3 yrs/36K miles. The warranty you are talking about is the one you get when spend another $200 for a 'drivetrain warranty' on top of the cost of the blower. If you read the fine print on the contract for that warranty, you will see that if you essentially have any other modifications to your vehicle at all besides the blower, the drivetrain warrany is null and void. Not such a great deal really, unless of course you do no other mods to your car.
wody
on the magnacharger website it has a 99-03 intercooled kit # 01-12-60-001 that says for ss and others, which can be covered by the added warranty, but the 04-05 ss non-intercooled kit (no such 04-05 intercooled kit) # 01-12-59-010 can not be covered. 03 and 04's are all wheel drive too correct? am i missing another kit competly?
