thallent Posted October 21, 2005 Report Share Posted October 21, 2005 I had a 98 reg cab and my dad had a 97 ext cab sport side. Both had 350 with the 4 speed auto my guess is that it was the 4l60e. As far as windows both of ours had power windows and manual seats. Mine the 60/40 split cloth and his cloth buckets. But i have seen trucks around here that had the bilsteins and skid paltes with stickers for the z71 package added by a dealer. So technically they had a z71 off road package. zippy Posted October 21, 2005 Report Share Posted October 21, 2005 i'm not sure if you could get the Z71 package on the base model for that year. i'll look later, i have broshure's yet from 98 still brand new. as for the trans, it would be a 4L60E unless you get one with the 6.5L, then it would be the 4L80E.
