I have an 2003 Silverado SS. The brakes are horrible. The pedal is not firm and the stopping power does not increase as you push the pedal down further which will go all the way to the stop. No lights are on either. I have replace all the rotors, pads and the front calipers. Took it to the Chevy dealer and they said air in ABS module. They bled the brakes and said I was good to go. Picked it up and if was exactly the same. My question is what could it be? ABS module, Master cylinder or something else. Also a side note, when driving sometimes I hear a pump kick on like an air pump. When the truck sits for a while with weight on it ie a boat trailer the battery will go dead in a couple of days. I do not hear the pump running when it is off but have heard complaints about it. Thanks Kevin
The past couple of days my abs and and brake light on my dash would turn on after 5min of driving. It tells me to service brakes on my service center on my dash. I thought it was my brakes so I changed them even though mine were good. It still pops up though. What could it be???
Driving home from work tonight and my ABS light came on. Am I going to have to replace a bearing kit or 2 due to the fact that the ABS sensor is in the 1 piece bearing kit?
