  1. I have a 2004 SSS AWD with 105ishK on it. Engine is stock LQ9, trans is stock, tune is stock, etc. A few months ago over on another forum I picked up an MP112 which I planned on installing this spring. As this was bought second (or third) hand it is not a complete kit and I have a few parts to obtain and the task of figuring out who to go through for a tune. The original plan was to accumulate these parts and information between buying the blower and now but I decided to buy a house for some reason which is limiting my truck funds. Some parts are being knocked out by trading with a buddy who also bought an MP112 around the same time so thats good. But I am looking for input, advice, or affirmation in heading in the right direction. I figure while I’m in there this might not be a bad time to upgrade to E-fans. Current mods include: Volant CAI with bumper scoop JBA Cat4ward headers Magnaflow exhaust from high flow cats and back MSD 8.5mm plug wires NGK Iridium LX spark plugs #7397 Powerstop brakes with slotted and cross drilled rotors Belltech Street Performance shocks Blower install parts list: Returnless fuel manifold (Trading my return style with someone for a returnless) Intank fuel pump http://www.superchargersonline.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=510_1689_1777&products_id=7781 Intercooler pump relay kit http://www.superchargersonline.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=510_1689_1777&products_id=7922 Inlet bellow (the one that came with it was all cracked and torn) http://www.superchargersonline.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=510_1689_1777&products_id=7789 Crank pin kit http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mps-31-14-59-009 And the dowels to go with it http://www.superchargersonline.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=510_1071_1149&products_id=7975 E-Fans parts list: Fans http://www.amazon.com/Depo-335-55041-000-Dual-Fan-Assembly/dp/B002M2UE82 Harness (Universal?) http://www.nelsonperformance.com/fan-harness The Tune: As far as the tune goes my buddy wants to start doing it, however neither of us have any experience doing it so not sure how keen I am to jump right into this. Was thinking of going with Blackbear, it looks like you can get free re-tunes? I’ve also heard that they have a crazy turn around time right now though. Does anybody know of better routes to go on any of these parts? As far as options, brands, models, vendors, and so on? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys Gallery attached, nothing you guys haven't seen before but an idea of what I'm working with

  3. Hi fellas, I need some tips, info, and know how for my 2006 Sierra Denali build. I'm finally comfortable with my income that I'm going to start my build. I want to do a cam swap and get a tune. The cam that I want to use in made to spec for Lingenfelter by Comp. The cam specs are: LINGENFELTER GT11 HYD ROLLER CAMSHAFT 350-383-427 LS1 LS2 LS3 LS6 215/231 .631/.644 118.0 CLThe actual webpage can be viewed at: http://www.lingenfelter.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=LPE&Product_Code=L210065297&Category_Code=C31#.USIlKo4TtaU Heres my deal. The page for the cam says that springs and retainers are a must for this cam. That is cool. Should I change the pushrods out for some chromoly ones too? Does anyone think this cam will be too aggressive to be daily driven? What I'm going for is a came that sounds nice and lopey and sounds mean and aggressive but still keeps the daily drivability while not affecting my MPG much. Lingenfelter also offers another cam with specs that are: Cam Number Duration @ .050 Valve Lift Rocker Arm Centerline LS1-GT2-3 207 / 220 .571" / .578" 1.7 ratio 118.5 What are going to be the differences in sound and drivability between the two? I plan to get Long Engine Works in Elkton Md to do the swap for me. He is great and been around a long time. He did the milling for my block when I did a complete engine rebuild of my GMC Syclone. So besides what I have stated above, I'm obviously going to need a tune after the swap. I'm not sure, but I don't think Longs can tune it. It there any Dyno shops or performance shops in the Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia area that you would recommend or should I just send my PCM out? Thanks for all the help in advance guys.
  4. I was wondering if anyone close knew how to do a tune on my truck. HP tune.
  5. i finished my cam swap and had my new coverter installed about three weeks ago, for the first week after i finished it, i couldnt drive the truck at all because it wouldnt idle and i was told its bad to drive without a tune with a cam. it took a week for my tuner (a local guy) just to get me a base tune so it would idle and be drivable. he always claims hes so busy. i didnt put my injectors in then because my adapters didnt come in. since then he has told me several times that he would get me a dyno day and a tune. everytime he has backed out on me, he never answers his phone, never calls me when he says he will and hes just impossible to work with and is terrible at running a business. ive been done with my truck for weeks now and still cant go WOT cause the injectors are well over maxed out. my buddy in town (zachm89) uses zippy, he just uses his wideband and zippy just emails a tune, but i dont have hptuners and i dont know how to get in touch with zippy or how the process even works, or how much it is. if yall could help me out with understanding how to get zippy to tune it i would appreciate it. thanks guys.
