  1. I did a 4/6 on my 03 Silverado Ss Awd with drop spindles and torsion keys and I keep bind up my cv axles and break them. What do you guys think about extended axles? any help would be appreciated

  3. Hey everyone, I searched for suspension issues and found very specific threads; I hope it is okay to make a new thread about this topic. I am looking for advice. I have a really loud squeaking sound coming from my front suspension. Greasing the hell out of it didn't do anything and I am thinking I am going to have to take apart the front suspension to find the issue. I brought it in once and the mechanic couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from. Since a lot of the components are getting really old and suffering the brutal torment of mid-west salty roads, I am considering replacing the main components of my front suspension. My questions are: Which route should I go; replace the parts or try an locate the specific issue? Which company should I go for the suspension parts. Is this way to hard for a novice to tackle? What could I expect in costs? Thank you for your time and consideration SS family. - Stewart
  4. Mine were overloaded at some point while I didn't own it, lol. Anyone know if the SS springs are different than any 1500? I prefer stock ride height. If you have them, please include price shipped to 32606. Thanks
  5. SOLD! I'm putting my 2003 Silverado SS roller up for sale. The truck was built by Jon at DBRods in Austin, Texas, I ran the truck for about a year and have decided to build something different. The truck is basically a complete truck except engine/trans. I can also deliver the truck to pretty much any where in Texas, and can work out delivery with a buyer else where. The truck has only been to the track once (was built for the street) and went 12.4x @ 130 with very very poor traction due to very bad track prep, non slicks, and poor burnout. The truck should cut 1.5 maybe 1.4 60' consistently with slicks and the right power plant.
