  1. hey Guys looking for info on the difference between magna flow tue x muffler and having a x pipe, i have an 03 ss with a 6.2 aluminum block, custom cam forged internals, pro charged with alot more extras. my question is do i have to have an x pipe if i run a magna flow true x muffler? does the magna flow do the same thing as an x pipe? ive got kooks long tube headers with kooks intermediate pipe ,immediately after the intermediate pipes i want to put the true x dual muffler and right after that both pipes will turn down after muffler under truck. NO CATS.. DO I HAVE TO HAVE AN X PIPE AS WELL? has anyone done this?
  2. I just put my new Texas-Speed longtubes on had an exhaust shop put a custom dual 3" to magnaflow hi-flow cats and mufflers then 3" tailpipes. I'm kind of regretting going with the 3" now. It sounds a little ratty when you get on it. Any solutions? I thought about putting in an X-pipe or using different mufflers. and maybe the dumping the tailpipes behind the axel. Let me know what you guys think, thanks.
  3. Ok guys im just about ready to install a new exhaust system in my 05 vho my plan was to put the tsp headers 3/4 primaries and the magnaflow 15840 and its a dual in dual out with a muffler that has an x pipe in it with a rear exit. A couple of questions i have about this exhaust is does anybody have this same exhaust so i can hear a sound clip and some opinions and what else would i have to buy to completely install this set up, would it be legal in the state of Texas or can you put catalytic converters before the resonators and last but not least i prefer to have an exit before or after the rear tires, would it be expensive to later on change them to a side exit, thanks to anybody that answers and sorry for been a newbie but i got to start somewhere right.
