Hi guys, this is my first post on SilveradoSS.com. I have been following the site for awhile though, but I am a noob here so I apologize in advance for anything out of the rules. So far this site has been a tremendous help to me with my trucks. I have a truck I need to sale and I figured the best place would be here hoping to find someone who truly appreciates these trucks. I recently acquired 2 Silverado SS's (2003 & 2006) and decided to keep the 2003 since I liked it a little better and it was the AWD model. I have a 2006 Silverado SS 2wd for sale. I bought this truck about 2 months ago the same time I bought the 2003 I am currently driving. I had already bought the 2006 and decided I wanted the 2003 so I am selling the 2006. I bought this truck off of a friend of my dads who is an older gentlemam who is a car collector. The truck had sat in my dads storage building for the last year and a half not being driven. He was keeping it to give to his grandson for his 16th birthday, but his grandson didn't want the truck. (I know right) I thought I was pretty knowledgable on these trucks with previous family members owning them and always owning Silverado trucks. I didn't really look over the truck too much when I bought it or ask many questions as I normally would buying a used vehicle since it was a friend of the family. I didn't know they offered a 2wd version in 2006 until I had already purchased it and I was pretty set on having the AWD version. The only thing I have replaced that I have noticed that needed to be replaced was the fuel sensor on the tank. It had went bad and had caused the fuel pump to continually kick off when trying to pump gas. Other than that the truck runs and drives great and still feels fresh for an older truck. Odometer 118,704 (miles may differ slightly as my dad is currently driving the truck occasionally) The truck is currently sitting in my dads storage building. Located in Western Kentucky. Hello fellow ss members, over the past month I am in California and i've been searching high and low for a 2006 Silverado SS Intimidator. I've been looking for one on Autotrader.com, Carsforsale.com, Cars.com, and Craigslist.com but so far no luck and if I do find one it's either already sold but they forget to take the ad down or it's WAY overpriced for the milage.I need your guys help to find a nice one average milage,preferably in California if you help me with this i have a Sony stereo receiver that i bought but never used still in box, Thanks! George

Fellow SS enthusiasts: Keep your eyes open around the streets of New Orleans for a recently stolen black/black 2006 SS in mint condition! I'm sure it's been pieced out for our precious LQ9 etc. already but if they happen to make the mistake of enjoying her for a bit longer before they tear her apart, call local pd for me, please and thanks. Every piece painted black, Florida "Protect the Panther" tag, trailer hitch and 5% tint on stock twenties. Put my heart, and wallet, into her for years, feels like I just got served divorce papers that I was not expecting. To all of those still in possession of your SS - this is the second time in the second state I've dealt with this. They didn't pull it off in Los Angeles about a year and a half ago. Should have learned my lesson. Appreciate you all taking the time. Also, don't leave anything sentimental in your rides. I produce films and I had a ton of really important stuff with me as I'm usually on these trips for months and they got it all. Well Long story short.... As some of you guys i know over the winter i picked up some 1-3/4" ARH longtubes. This spring after getting the truck out of storage i installed them and changed up my exhaust. Installed a new DI-DO 3" Magnaflow tipped in front of the rear tire with two stock SS tips powder coated black (pics to follow of my new look) About 2 weeks or so ago me and some buddies went down to the local track and made some passes. Ran a 14.43 with the new long tubes and exhaust. Which i didnt think was too bad considering i hadnt re-tuned the truck since all the exhaust work .My buddy Dr. Tedder started tuning the truck up. Went back this saturday night after making edits to the tune and ran a best of 14.06 with a not so good 60'. I'm just getting ready to install my LC-1 Widband, new taylor 10.4mm plug wires and some autolite copper core plugs. Hoping to tune its way into a 13.8 on some 94 octane. Raced a couple of quick cars that night. A newer Evo and STI were at the track they both ran a best of 13.8's. I beat the STI a couple of times which was some good fun! Hoping to be the fastest stock cammed, stock tire SS on the board. Wish me luck! Big thanks to the Dr.
