I loved HIDs, however I heard they are not made for our headlights. I really want to put some in my truck, but I would like to know what is need it to get them to work right. So, can the guys who have HIDs already, elaborate more on the HIDs (Pattern, glare, blinding incoming traffic, etc). Is it even legal to put them in our trucks? How is the glare? Do we need to get a retrofitting kit?

Thanks for the info, if you happen to see another one in the Bay Area let me know.

Thanks guys, I've visiting the site for a while and I decided to buy my first SSS. In fact I have been looking for a 05, 06 or 07 SS for a while in Cali. but I haven't had much luck. rivierakid55 - Unfortunaley the one in Courtesy Chevrolet in San Jose is 2003 and is blue, not what I'm looking for. I would prefer and Intimidator, but regular SS would perfect.

I'm looking for a used or new 2006 Silverado Intimidator, if anybody knows where can I get one let me know, I would appreciate it. I'm located in Norther California.
