  1. Update - anyone buying the Proform valve covers, the MSD wires recommend by the manufacturer are way too tight. The #7 and #8 wires keep popping off the spark plugs. Taylor 73253 or a variant of thst number (different wire colors) are a great alternative as you can cut the wire to the proper length. You will need Taylor LS1 coil boot 46069 to crimp on these for a Gen III application. I'm installing them tomorrow.

  2. As we all know, today marks the 14th anniversary of the attacks on our
nation. Today I ask all my fellow members here on SSS.com to take a
moment of silence to reflect on our 3,093 fellow Americans who lost
their lives that horrific day over one decade ago, those who have lost their lives to disease since, and to reflect on our
troops for all they have sacrificed to keep the United States safe from
terrorism. Also, please keep our nations law enforcement officers in your thoughts and prayers today in light of recent events. Let's never forget September 11, 2001. :flag:

  3. Hello everyone, the last 2 months or so have been insane. Immediately following the Carlisle GM Nationals, my father wound up needing triple bypass surgery. The operation was successful, and he is finally back to work and driving again. My Uncle underwent treatment for throat cancer around the same time. He has just finished his treatments and is slowly recovering. All of this, not to mention I've been working a ton of OT as well.

Last but not least, my life is going to change come March 2016. My wife and I are pregnant with our first child! :chevy:

    What's new around here everyone?
