  1. so are they shutting off? or do they not play at all? are they factory speakers?
  2. they are the regular +05 Silverado fans? Why did you take them off? Ill bid the first $1 lol
  3. all GM sells is the Chrome ones, or the rough black ones that would have to be smooth and painted. Mine passenger side housing broke due to a shoping kart even though I park in the back, anyways I have had a hard time tracking some down... I NEED black and only really need the drivers, but would buy both and could paint them if thats what is available.
  4. the cheaper Yamaha recievers have dual sub outputs.... however most guys just use a splitter for dual subs, I really like the yamaha stuff, but denon also makes a great product. What price range are you looking in? As for the LED TV's I sadly do not have much knowlege on them, I have noticed the samsung leds do make for a pretty awesome picture though.
  5. I had an '84 other then the dash pads, those trucks LAST
  6. So I have an '03 SSS bought in '06 I have 80,000 miles on the truck and its starting to really get to me because it dosent seem new and nice anymore, people still always say "Hey NICE Truck" and stuff when they see it, but a lot of little things, I've noticed couple small spots where the paint is comming off the dash, heated seats bottons wearing out, sw control bottons showing wear, lots of little things. I guess the truck is about 7 years old.... kinnda sucks too cuz I really like the truck, and the only thing I could see buying new would be a new camaro ss which kills me having a truck (which i do use it for some) a newer vette (out of the price range) or a new duramax lifted with all the bells and whistles (also out of the price range). Sorry for the rant
  7. :okay, so I have been working on my '99 Silverado 1500 that had been sitting for over a year. I had to change the gumed up fuel pump. Now that its "running" its down a cylinder (I believe its #2, front passenger) I unpluged each coil and the 5.3 studders a lot more when each is unpluged except for the one, so I poped another plug in... not the problem. So I unpluged the boot from the coil, I get the arc on all coils except for the one. So i run up to autozone and pop a new coil in.... agin not the problem. Oviously it is not getting power... I did not have a test light with me only a DMM I could only seem to meter 12+ constant. Any ideas???
  8. wow... that was harsh, not all best buy's are bad and atleast you have a lift time warranty at 1000 locations.....
  9. everything will still play, however I assume the current install was done with a line out converter. I would highly recomend removing the LOC and running those RCA cables to the sub out on the back of the pioneer. You will get better cleaner signal to your amp that is not crossed over by Bose, and also have sub control. Check behind the radio or below the cupholders for teh LOC
  10. where did you get the font to make the stickers?
  11. its all about wiring configuration, weather a sub is 1 2 6 8 16 6.9348 ohm single or dual voice coil it will not change the way the speaker sounds.... its more so to mach up with your amp or amount of subs most amp will make the most power they can at 2 ohm with out burning up, that said a single 4ohm sub on a mono amp you will be losing out on some power, now if you have two of those 4ohm subs you can run it at 2ohm for the most power the amp will supply. If you are only going to run one sub then a 2channel amp will be better for the application as you can run it 4ohm Bridged (some people will call that 2ohm even though it is not, but it will make the same power as 2ohm stearo).
  12. a little but not to horrible, if the wheels were an inch wider they would be PERFECT but im pretty sure they would rub.
  13. I have them... I like them, they will not be a TON wider though unless you get a wider wheel
