  1. The lower dash piece on the driver's side "knee area"
  2. Does the truck still have the mirrors? Signal and power fold? If so, please pm me a price shipped to 77523 for both. Thanks.
  3. If still available and you buy the bumper, I'll take the rest of the kit. MG
  4. Last night after work drove about a block and a buddy from work wanted to race, (SRT-8 300c) so we did. I put the gear selector into 3rd and stalled to about 3200 and left him in the dust. It shifted into second and at the top of second I let off. Had him by about 3 cars. He wanted to go again and we lined up again but this time he was at my bumper. The truck took off what seemed kinda soft. I let off immediately knowing something was wrong. I then discovered the truck was stuck in second gear. I played with the gear selector and it didnt help. I tried turning the truck on and off and still stuck in 2nd. luckily I live like 4 miles from work so I just cruised it home in second really upset. Well this morning I got up to move my truck so we could pull my wife's car out of the driveway to use it and the truck shifted fine into all gears as normal. I am not a beleiver in things fixing themselves and would like your input and if anything like this has happed to anyone else. No codes no SES light and no fluid leaks. What do you think? thanks in advance Mario
  5. nice kill. I try to do my killing from a dig though that is where we are at our best.
  6. Congrats on the new best time. In better weather that might even be an 11.
  7. Yes I was at BMP. There were 2 chevy's faster than mine though, one diesel and one nice maroon RCSB. Both the stages are wet, stock injectors. I did upgrade the fuel pump. We tried an inline 255 and that was not giving us consistant AFR's so we added an intank 255 and solved the problem. Now the AFR stays wherever we want it to. On the motor passes the log shows 92% IDC but on the spray it goes down to a more friendly 80%. No knock on the nitrous tune with 11* at WOT. Funny thing though it doesnt like alot of timing anyway, on my best motor tune it is only at about 20* @WOT. If we add any the torque drops off quickly on the dyno. thanks for the positive feedback mario
  8. Well, i got the second stage installed this week and went to the track tonight. With the second stage coming on with second gear and making it and third slip all the way through the pass it went like this R/T .147 60 1.794 330 5.285 1/8 8.225 MPH 83.97 1000 10.734 1/4 12.839 MPH 107.16 The second stage is a nitrous outlet nozzle with 100hp pills. So in total it has pills for 250 and holding fine. For what its worth on the dyno the AFR was rich at about 10.6-10.8 but we decided to leave it there for safety purposes. WOT timing is set for 11*. Then when i figured the transmission would not allow me to run any better on the spray we put back in my N/A tune and backed up my previous best with a run of 14.55 on motor at 92 MPH. All in all I am happy with it but now I know the transmission is what can't handle the 250 shot not the motor. Still haven't installed the headers and waiting to install the PI 3600 stall but I guess I will wait till I can build the tranny. thanks goes out to everyone that has given me input on what to do to get my truck where it is. Mario
  9. black SSS from Brownsville here
  10. With your mods CNE you should be there. I ran a best of 14.5 on the motor on a bad day. Keep in mind that when you go to spray and pull timing it will run slower on motor. I went from that 14.5 to a 15.1 but on the spray dropped 2 sec. I am currently peicing together my l76/l92 setup. Already have the moded water pump and relocation bracket for the idler pulley to make it all work now just waiting on the electronics for the DBW. I will probably run a cam similar to yours from Livernois.
  11. I'm going to upgrade the servos but probably going to use the some that are bigger than the vette's. Going to add 100hp pills on the second stage and she if the motor will hold together.
  12. Went to the track last night and got my 13 sec time slip. On the motor I have run a best of 14.52@ 91.7 on a good tune but yesterday I was on the nitrous tune. With 150 pills it only shows 100 on the dyno at the wheels but the torque goes up about 190 ft lbs. as soon as it hits. motor pass: 15.12 @ 86.73 mph w/ 2.08 50 ft. first nitrous pass: 13.55 @ 100.4 mph w/ 1.94 60 ft second nitrous pass: 13.17 @ 101.2 mph w/ 1.76 60 ft. On the second nitrous pass I set the controller to activate the nitrous at 2700 rpm instead of 3000 like on the first pass. It was about 86 degrees outside and really bad air. with a little better weather might have gone a 12. Headers, Pi 3500, and the second stage going on this weekend hopfully will get better times next thursday.
