  1. I'm interested depending on the info you return with
  2. I agree, that or let someone get the mold to repair or cast one to repair and make a new master mold from.
  3. Hmmmm interesting.... Just as I am back in the market for a SSS
  4. Is this still avail? I have a whole stock bumper assy and hitch I will drive to KY and trade for
  5. Nice install, and nice tutorial!! As Always...
  6. Hey buddy, We just had a big "Emerging Issue" addressing the Oil Life at the dealership. So I will let you guys know a couple of things, if you take your trucks in for service, GM now has changed their standard of stickers. The wording says "Last Service Performed" on the recommended stickers...So if you see your current mileage, and date of service on it. It is suppose to read that IF the vehicle has an oil life index. As Kelley said, the index factors in multiple parameteres, however most are designed to come on at 6,000miles...
  7. I'll be in touch on IM, as our prior transaction was perfect...Nice grill heh
  8. Hey buddy, I am definately interested!! I have a stock setup, but I could send it to ya for yours and a little extra cash your way. I'll even put a new AirFilter in the stock setup if you want...Get in touch with me, so we can negotiate...
  9. Pics? Will they work on a 6.0? Do you have the PN off them, so I can talk to Edelbrock?
  10. Hey guys, Don't worry this is still a go...I've been TableSaw shopping for a week, or so now..I think I'm gonna spend the money and get a good DeWalt one, that I can use around the garage, and house too, vs. something just for stereo box work. I wanna get some ideas to go off of from you all too...I think I picked up enough MDF to do my Box, and one Silverado SS box for reference... Mine will have the Rockford logo across the front... I think I am gonna offer boxes of the following... 1. Traditional box 2. Tradiaional box with script across the front $50 more with an option $250 per side logo Boxes will come in 3 different levels: 1. Sanded 2. Sanded, if lettering is requested it will be fiberglassed in, and body filler will be applied, and smoothed ready for paint 3. Finished completely with paint... The Demo box I will make for the SilveradoSS will consist of SilveradoSS on the front (maybe the .com too who knows) then I will put a Bowtie on each end of the box as well... All boxes I make will be PROFESSIONALY done with 3/4" MDF, glued & nailed together...sanded, and all seams on the inside of the box will be glued as well. Good quality terminals will be used as well...My logo will be somewhere on the box for proof of creation Script/Logo options Front $50 (If I can have a digital image of decent resolution submitted to me)** **Over box price Hopefully I will have made up my mind within this next week, and I get pick up a saw the weekend after Turkey Day and start. Side logo's $25 a side** The subs I will be using for my Mock-up are Rockford Fosgate T112D2's which require a 6.75" mount depth...I am going to try to get the volume based on these subs, and probaby any other sub will work well in the box. I will see where initial calculations put everything at as far as if the rear seat will need to be raised, or left alone. Also one last question, like on the SubThump boxes would you guys for the front edge want something to contour the floor, or just be straight across at the bottom? I have thought about making a mold of the floorpan using Fiberglassmatt, to get a shape for the whole bottom of the box, but might be more hassle that is is worth....Either way I will probably end up contouring the front face along the bottom...
  11. Looks nice, however readin on some of the Fbody forums, from what I have understood...If they did come out for sure with another TransAm it wouldn't have the TA name, as they have to pay SCCA a percentage of sales for every "TransAm" sold, since they own the licensing rights to the name...As for the Motor, they are probably just stating what would go in it right now. When the Camaro concept was released it only had an LS2 in it, and now things have changed to having a LS3 option... Eitherway, I think if the Camaro does well in it's first two years out will tell if the Bird will fly again.
  12. Hey guys, I don't know if you remember or not, but I've done some nice Fiberglass work with the car, and Carbon Fiber work as well...Long story short, I was at Lowe's on Saturday morning, ended up buying a new DeWalt air finishing nailer, and stapler. I am gonna be building a box for the truck. I'm gonna do custom glass work across the front of the box, and on the ends...Probably something similar to the SubThump style boxes. All will be made of 3/4" MDF board, glued, and nailed together. I was wondering if there would be a market for the forum to get the box from a member, vs SubThump, or elsewhere...Especially if I am gonna have SilveradoSS as an option to look like it is pushing through the fiberglass, or Carbon fiber. I will be able to do Audio logo's as well. I do Basecoat/Clearcoat as well.. Just wondering what you guys thought about this, as well as what you would pay for any custom work as well...Probably in the next week, or so I will start to work on mine, and get some pics up of the work...Figured since I bought the nice new tools, I might as well offer my work out...
  13. Ray, thanks buddy!! That's it!! Wooo Wooo
