I think I have profected pulled pork! Take a large bone in pork shoulder roast, cover with rub, inject it with "special sauce" smoke for 3 hours: Place in pan: Add "Special Sauce", wrap it up, and cook for another 4 hours: Let cool a bit, and then pull it apart: No need for BBQ sauce

Well my friend said he is hoping to finish most of the painting over the next week or two. He just has to finish both bed sides (which are in rough shape), one front fender well, and the driver side door. Then he is going to pull off the cab and fix the rust, then paint the cab, and the frame, engine and trranny, and it should be finished. Here is a picture of the paint in full sunlight.

Originally we were going to go with an Orange but when it came time to buy paint we decided to go with BMW Techno Violet. It's going to be very unique. He does know his stuff. He is also extremely picky about it, and is a perfectionist Which is obviously a good thing.

Nope that's the color. Techno Violet I have seen the underside of the hood in person and it looks great!

That could be a possibility. There is always a risk going anywhere where someone has access to your vehicle where there might be some shady stuff going on. You just never know. My truck was broken into the night after I took my truck to a car wash. I had an employee working for me that worked a second job at that same car wash and he said he would not be surprised at all if it was someone at that place. But there is not much you can do, just let your insurance handle it, and you can let the police know your suspicions and let them investigate it. Anyway sorry to hear that happened. People piss me off.

I like it alot. Its pretty cool to see how they are able to keep thos ecars running using make shift parts

It should fit, but that can depend on the size of the seat. I know there are plenty of people on this site who have. There is more room than a Camaro I can tell you that much.

now I am by no way an expert, but I have never seen an RST in an crew cab or extended cab. They are usually regular cab 4.8L with the 5-speed. They are not a performance package at all, they are just an apperenace package usually with stripes, a different lower valance, 20" wheels, a fin on the back, a roll pan, and some minor interior changes. If you do a google image search for Silverado RST you wont see a crew cab. So Im going to say that someone got a hold of some RST parts and put them on an crew cab. Now that being said, this is actually a nicer vehicle, and much more practical. It has some of the cool parts from the RST, but in a much more practical vehicle.

I like the changes they made, but Im not a huge fan of the Denali grille. The All Terrain Grille however looks great. You could say the same thing about the change they made in 03. The 99-02 was selling very well but they did a pretty nice refresh and it sold even better. I am a little surprised they made changes this fast after only 2 years, but on the other hand I have read lots of rumors saying that GM will be completely remodeling the Silverado for the 2019 model, which means the K2XX body style will only last for 5 model years which is quite a bit quicker than they previously have. So if its true they will have a new body style after 5 years then it does not surprise me that they did a refresh this quick. The biggest complaint about the GMT 900's was they did not make any real major changes for 7 years, not even a mid cycle refresh (like they did with the GMT 800's). Im sure some of that had to do with the bankruptcy.

I like how they decided to color match the grille and bumper and I think it looks good. I also like the LED turn signals. But this is the high end LTZ Z71, what are the mid range front ends going to look like? Will they also be color matched? Probably not I also like the hood, and the fog lights

I agree with you there. I love the new Silverados as well, but yeah the price is ridiculous, but its the same for all new vehicles, especially trucks and SUVs. One of the main reasons im a seriously looking at a new Colorado is that it will do everything I would need it to do, but fully loaded they are only like $35K vs $45K for a similar Silverado. Plus that new Diesel is looking pretty awesome.

I agree! Im stick of Black as well Im really liking the Custom Sport Edition which is only availible in black and white diamond. If I get a new truck i think it will look like this

Very Nice! I want a new 6.2 so bad. I just dont know if I can justify getting rid of my truck that I never drive, but buy a much more expensive truck that I never drive
