I was just wondering what everyone was using to detail there interior and make it all nice and shiny. I tried Maguires quick interior detailer and i was not impressed at all. I have used lemon pledge and it seems to give it a good shine and i know it can protect it. My dad's 69 chevelle still has the original dash and some other original interior and he use to soak that thing in lemon pledge ever sine he got it brand new the day he tured 16. So what do you guys think is the best? Also what do you guys use to clean the leather seats?

I know I want one so bad but i just cant realy afford it right now. Im trying to save up because im going to be buying a franchise resturant. so most of my funds goes to that. Plus im planning on buyng my dads M3 from him. but as soon as we buy this resturant and im settled down a bit im going to supercharge it. Or maybe i should turbo or supercharge the M3 hmmm that sounds like a good idea

Yeah i gets lost of compliments about my backup lights and it makes me feel special too lol. I also get lost of compliments about the super white turn signals i have too. Next im going to put white LEDs in my lights under the mirrors and in all my interior lights to finish off my total super white look

Yeah the PIAA bulbs in the resverse are not as bright as regular stock bulbs but i think the hyper white light they put out is well worth the ten buck you have to pay for PIAA super white bulbs

i just installed HID's and wow i love them. I use to think that my PIAA super whites were awsome bulbs but wow what a difference. here are some before and after pitures. I have PIAA super whites in my turn signals but im thinking about puting ambers back in. i put the PIAA bulbs in because i thought the the white light looked good. but after puting in my HID's my PIAA signal bulbs almost look yellow noe so i might as well put ambers back in. Also here are some pics of my back up lights i put PIAA bulbs in them too and also in my license lights.

I Know its not and SS and its a Ford but Damn I love this car. My best friends dad just got this the other day, and im realy realy hoping he lets me drive it At one time he owned a 1967 Shelby GT 500 as well as a boss 426 and a Mach 1. But he had to sell them to pay for college and he always ahs dreamed of what it would be like if he had his shelby back

Thanks guys for all the help i will have to fiddle with them a little when i get a chance this spring to go to the strip. Yeah every time i raced i left it in over drive so i will derinetly put it into 3rd and reve it to 1000

I feel so sorry for you man it makes me sick to think someone would do this, i have had it happen to me before it was not my SS so it was not that bad and it was only the tailgate but man i feel sorry for you. You know what i would like to do to the person who did that to your truck. I would staple his nutz to a stump and light it on fire and just watch what happens. Wow that sounds kind of demented doesn't it oh well thats how i feel lol

I was wondering if anyone had any good tips for me on how to reduce my quarter mile time and get a better launch. I was just hoping to get a good quarter mile time this year and i need some help. I know that some people use there tow/hall mode or something. any help would be nice.

so if found out that they guy who i raced is the manager of a coffee shop that i frequent and i went in there today to get some coffee. I saw him in the back room and he came running up to me. and said wow nice truck and he told me he could not believe that my truck was so fast, and he told me he thought there was no way that a full size truck could out run his acura. I think he now has a little more respect for the SS

So i just took a job in a small town on the oregon coast with a population of only 8k where like 70% of the poppulation is over 60. so it kind of sucks, it rains all the time so i cant keep my truck all shiny. So since this town is full of a bunch of old people there is not many nice performance like cars and obviously nobody that wants to race, but i got lucky tonight. I was driving home from dinner on the only major road in the town which is highway 101. So anyway i was following a cop down the highway when an fairly nice acura integra pulled up next to me( it might be the one of the nicest performance vehicles in this town besides mine and the new 350GT mustang), he kept right next to me as we were driving along te road. When the cop turned of a side road i had a strange feeling this guy was going to try to race me. The speed limit was only 30 so i was a little nervous so i plugged in my radar detector just in case. so he got up right next to me and accelerated just a little bit so i gave it a little gas to keep up with him. It was then that i realy luck'd out. The only stop light for miles turned red so we puled up next to each other. when it turned green i floored it and smoked him, i then let off the gas a little bit when i hit about 60. I let him pull up next to me again and gave him about a car length before i hit it again and very fast i was in front of him. i then turned in to a store parking lot and so did he and he turned around and went the other way down the highway. I was very happy that he decided to race me, i hope now that this guy has a little respect for performance trucks. just because we weigh alot more does not mean we are slow. I am also glad to know that i may have the best performance vehicle in the entire town (and i have not even got a supercharger yet), i know that i constantly get looks and people are always talking about how much they like my truck

An update just in case you guys were wondering. I called Nelson performance and they told me it was a bad PCM or something happened during the tuning process. They sent me a new one and i put it in and it fired right up

I think it may be a tie between the Tundra and the Titan for me. I debated weather or not to even put the ridgeline and the avalanche in there because i don't even know if you can consider them trucks if they don't have a separate bed

So me and my roommates are alway talking about which trucks out there are the Fugliest. And i was just wondering what you guys thought about this subject. Im Talking about the most recent body style of each truck

i tried that whole relearn thing last night and it still did not work, i wonder if it might work if i try removing the PCM and instaling it again

So i just got a Nelson PCM and a installed it today. i was all excited but the car would not start so i tried to crank it over and over again and i stoped then i gave it a little gas and it eventualy started..........So i was all happy, but i turned off my engine and only had it off for less then five min and it would not start again.........I then unpluged the batterie and removed the PCM and the hooked it back up again, but it still would not start. i kept trying and trying to start it agin and it fianlly did and i drove it about 10 miles or so and i was very inpressed. well i got back home and turned it off and about a half an hour later it would not start again Does anyone have any idea why it will not start sometimes and it will other times

I agree that car is so bad ass, my dad and i got to test drive one and oh my god that car is amazing, it is a million times better then my dads M3 and that car is bad ass

Is that a flat black or like a medium gloss? i cant tell from the pic

I'm Thinking about blacking out the gray on my SS grill, and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what kind of paint i should use. A friend of mine who is a body man suggested that i use Krylon spray paint but what do you guys thing. And should i go with a base or a medium gloss or what? I wanted to put in a black chrome speed grill but i relay don't want to spend the money so im trying to find a cheep way of blacking out my grill.

Oh those are not rock chips those are bugs. Where i live in oregon is right next to a huge lake and there is an infestation of thes little green anoying bugs and the day before the wreck i had to go by that lake. it kind of sucks having a nice car in the summer in Klamath Falls Oregon beause those damn bugs are everwhere and you cant avoid them

It was not to bad the airbags did not go off so it was not so bad. Yeah this actualy happened like a month ago and i have my truck back now...........kind of. right after i got it back i hit a deer and so right now at this moment its at the body shop getting fixed but that was only minor damage just need a new license plate frame and a bumper grill
