  2. I've got one of these that I could sell. If you are still looking let me know.
  3. I am thinking about adding a Radix supercharger to my stock AWD 05 SS and am doing some homework. This is my daily driver and I drive about 30 miles a day mostly highway. I am not looking for increased track times just some more power for daily driving, around town, smoking the mustang next to me, etc. Would the non intercooled radix be enough for me and is the cash savings worth buying it over the intercooled version? Does anyone have any pros or cons on either? Are there any other mods that I would need right away when adding the supercharger?
  4. Ok. I got my amp and subs installed last night. I connected the power lead to the battery post using a sidepost adapter, used 8GA cable for power lead and ground. I used the PAC adapter behind the head unit, everything the way it should be, no shortcuts. On the way to work this morning (driving through town) I was cranking the base while playing a CD and at high volumes I started getting some static and then the sound (subs and stock speakers) would cut out a few times and then go back to normal. This happened several times. I got on the highway, changed to a different CD and cranked it again and I couldn't get it to cut out again. Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? Both CDs played fine before the install. I am not running a capasitor for my amp could this be the culprit? I am running a 300W amp and (2) 10" 400W subs and I had both of these installed in my old truck and had no problems.
  5. I have a 2005 ss 6.0 and i just put the flow master super 40 duel inlet duel outlet and it sounds really good. Its a nice deep clean get out of my way rumble. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This thread might be a little old but I just put on dual 40's with 2 1/2" pipe and it sounds great. You get a little resonance in the cab between 1500 and 1800 RPMs and then it mellows out but it still has a little rumble but nothing too loud.
  6. Ok, I'm not a real wizard when it comes to electrical and I have a question. On my 05 SS the positive battery cable goes to a bracket which looks like a distribution block and then continues down to the starter. From the distribution block there is a fuseable link that looks like it goes to the back of the alternator. Can I run an 8 gage cable with a 40 amp fuse from this block to my 12V amp connection? If not where is a good place to connect?
  7. Adding an aftermarket amp to stock Bose head unit with onstar and XM. I am thinking now that I probably need then AOEM-GM24. Am I right?
  8. Ok, which PAC adapter do I need to add 1 amp to my stock bose system in my 05 SS? Is it the AOEM-GM24 that PAC lists for a silverado 1500 or is it the C2A-GM24? What is the difference?
  9. This link is for an AOEM-GM24 PAC adapter I thought I needed the C2A-GM24????
  10. Anyone have a PAC C2A-GM24 for sale or know the best place to get one? I found a couple on Ebay but they are about $100 with shipping.
