Did you end up doing this? I'm thinking the same thing but with the tranny thats screwed up right now in my truck.

I actually got one as a rental after an accident in the V-max last Jan. I really wish i could've picked my truck up before returning the ram... it ran good enough to make me wonder but I bet i'd still beat it. My dad's got a tundra double cab with the dual exhaust and i've ran him twice, we're tied.

Thanks for the well wishes guys... doing a lot better now! No internet at home now though got some new pics i can load soon Yes both sides of the calf! No way I'm getting hooked on the meds!!! I'm down to one norco (double vicodin) every four hours during the day, and thats just cause i'm starting to try and walk on it, and yes Mr. P with these DAMN crutches The only thing that looks to be permanent is some nerve damage to my big toe.... can't lift it up off the floor w/ my foot flat. kinda weird... it just doesn't work The best news of all, I can drive the beast again(when sober and hurting)... I kinda consider the gas pedal as phys. therapy for my calf. just have to use my left for the brake!

tell me about it... at least my wife likes gettin on it too!

I pray for your mother, family and you. Hang in there man. I agree, get more family in there to help you guys out, I know how depressing hospitals can be.

Worst pain I've ever been in!!! That is when I don't stay on top of the meds!

So I had my surgeory in aug. and that set me back a bit financially so I haven't had much time to check the site out, let alone spend extra money on my truck. That is until Jan 7, my right leg was smashed between an s-10 bumper and cinderblock wall... fractured my fibia, but also had compartment syndrome, basically your body builds pressure where the crush trauma occurred and starts cutting off circulation... They stuck a 4-5" needle in my calf like a human tire pressure gauge and figured out it was twice the limit! The fix is a surgeory called a fasciotomy(sp?)... basically two big ass cuts in my leg to relieve the pressure... Then hooked up to a vacuum to suck all the fluid out. Here's some pics... Since then the vacuum has come of and they're starting to heal... finally putting like 10-25 lbs of pressure on it Thank god for medicine like percocet and dilaudid(12 x's stronger than morphine!!!)

its funny how many people think that if its legalized thousands of people are gonna line up to go try it all of a sudden, like the legality of it is what is holding them back.... yeah right!!! personally i would much rather see my kids smoking instead of binge drinking or smoking cigs, but will definitely express my want for them to wait... just like sex and any other activities that should be for adults. being asthmatic, i've even asked my doctor about it's affects compared to cigs, he said its far less harmful if used moderately, like 1 -2 times a day. I used to smoke, but not once since 2006, because I can tell a huge difference... cigs would kill my lungs and make me hack every morning.... pot has little to no effect on my lungs, as long as i don't over do it. It does have a serious effect on my ADD though... That feeling you feel the next day is the THC still circulating in your body, this is what helps calm you.... and my brain from thinking about seventeen different things at once on both accounts!!!! i voted yes, and the majority with close to 100 is for legalizing
