I have a 03 chevy silverado regular cab with a 4.8 motor, and I want to swap it out for a ls2 out of a trailblazer or a l76 or a lq9. What would i need for any of these motor to work in my truck.

Just stick to the old reliable AK-47.

Yes I do want to keep the Variable Valve timming I really don't care about the DOD. -
Thanks guys i think im going to go with the with GMPP CIA
-
I was wondering what you guys think of GMPP CIA, it does look nice and shiny but will it benfit my truck or am I better going to sumething like Volant or Outlaw intake. Even though I don't like how Outlaws intake look, they do claim the make a good intake.

Wich lowering kit is better DJM or Belltech, also wich would look better 4/6 or 3/5. Note i dont want my truck scrapping, i had 2001 gmc sierria with a 5/7 and it would scrape all the time. Im just looking for something classy.

Does any one know where I can get a DVd/navigation touch screen for a 2008 GMC sierra, for less then what GM sells them for. Doesn't matter if it new or from a salvage yard.
-
Will I run into in problems swapping cams on the new L76 engine. Also would a gain any perfromance if used a cam from a L92 or LS3 engine, since they both have Variable Valve timeing and Displacment On Demand.

Thanks for the advise. I think im just going to stick to the stock brakes for know.

I have a question, I have a 2008 GMC sierra with the Max Trailering Pack. And I was wondering if It would be possible to upgrade my front and rear calipers with six-piston front calipers and four-piston rear calipers from a 2008 chevy z06 corvette.
