I wouldn't have raced the Tundra either, I don't like racing when I have family in my truck either. The other day I raced a Double cab tundra 5.7, but I was on stock tune. From a roll going at 35mph he floored it and I floored it and we were keeping up but had to slow down for traffic, but then at another roll he floored it and I floored it and he started leaving my truck, gotta love GM 4 second delay. I am going to install my Black Bear Tune again and go look for some 5.7 Tundra.

My V-Max on stock tune would only go up to 92mph, it goes over 120mph with my Black Bear Tune.

There is SS with cloth interior and very basic options but they were only made in 2005-2007.

I got a V-Max and the favorite things about my truck is how rare it is, the rear disc brakes, interior, rims. Dislikes about my trucks is the stock tune, other than that is one of the best trucks I have ever owned.

Is this the truck they were building to compete with the Ford Lightning?

On my V-Max I also removed the delay, a tune is one of the best mods for these trucks.

Did u remove the 4 second delay?

Good numbers, sounds about right for a NBS V-Max.

The stock exhaust was too quiet IMO so I replaced it with a Flowmaster dual exhaust, truck sounds awesome. Just get a tune and remove the 4 second delay,TM, speed limiter and it will be a completely different truck. I also want to get some long tube headers for my truck but I haven't found any out there yet. For the Chevy bowtie on the tailgate it is only held on by glue so if you remove it there will be no holes, I removed all the badges except the V-Max emblem and it looks way nicer. If u are going to remove the emblem do it on a hot day, it will be way easier to remove. Do u have rear disc brakes or drum brakes? Nice truck, tune it and enjoy that 6.0L.

I have an 2007 V-Max LTZ also and when I had stock exhaust that is how it was, only NBS V-Max & Denali trucks have the exhaust coming out like that. Normal 5.3L truck have the tip going to the right.

Nice V-Max bro, add a tune to the truck and it will be a completely different truck. It won't be so sluggish with a tune, u should add the painted to match door handles & mirror covers it will bring up the look of the truck.

Well, u can't win every time you race. It must have had some good mods to beat an SS.

I run 91 octane from Chevron in my V-Max.

It would look better with the the rims painted black or the stock color.

I wonder how much money he wasted changing this Tahoe so much? This Tahoe is very close to my house, I have never seen it around though.

I have that feature and it is awesome, I guess I need to take my truck to the dealer. I think that option is only available in the NBS trucks.

IMO a street tune and a dyno tune are the best for these trucks. A mail order can be good too, but it also depends on the tuner who tuned your truck. If I was going with a mail order tune I would go with Justin at Black Bear because he has the data logging software which will make for a better mail order tune.

Nice Tahoe bro, the GMT-900 Tahoe & Suburban are the best SUV out there right now. They look awesome and they give u good gas mileage. Sucks u had to give up your truck though, your V-Max looked awesome.

That does looks way better than the stock engine cover.
