WHAT YEAR TRUCK DO YOU NEED TO ORDER THE LIGHTS FROM?
From 2003-2006 Silverado trucks.

Hey man, just got my new tundra to replace the old one that burned down. Im planning on going to irwindale in 2 weeks. Hit me up of you wanna go.
I'll see if I can go, right now I'm waiting for my PCM & TCM to get here so I can run it.
-
I wouldn't have raced the Tundra either, I don't like racing when I have family in my truck either. The other day I raced a Double cab tundra 5.7, but I was on stock tune. From a roll going at 35mph he floored it and I floored it and we were keeping up but had to slow down for traffic, but then at another roll he floored it and I floored it and he started leaving my truck, gotta love GM 4 second delay. I am going to install my Black Bear Tune again and go look for some 5.7 Tundra.

Nice run, what mods does the V-Max have?
-
My V-Max on stock tune would only go up to 92mph, it goes over 120mph with my Black Bear Tune.
-
There is SS with cloth interior and very basic options but they were only made in 2005-2007.
-
I got a V-Max and the favorite things about my truck is how rare it is, the rear disc brakes, interior, rims. Dislikes about my trucks is the stock tune, other than that is one of the best trucks I have ever owned.
-
Is this the truck they were building to compete with the Ford Lightning?
-
On my V-Max I also removed the delay, a tune is one of the best mods for these trucks.
-
Did u remove the 4 second delay?
-
Good numbers, sounds about right for a NBS V-Max.

Huh. The factory exhaust tip looks so cheap compared to the rest of the truck. My boss has an SSS (just figured out what that meant) and it's got a nice looking side exit. I thought maybe the truck I'd bought had the exhaust replaced with some cheapo job. Good to know it's factory, I guess. It doesn't sound horrible, just looks cheap. Guess I'll have to replace the exhaust and get a tune. Seems like you have to get on the truck really early for it to make any power before shifting.
Thank you for the info. Why is it so hard to find any concrete info on this truck? Who makes Long tubes for the '07 V-max? Will a pair from a G8 work? I've also been wanting to rip the badges off this thing, especially the big gaudy bowtie on the tailgate. I'm hoping there aren't any locating pins/you didn't have to do any bondo or paintwork to yours? Looks great, btw! Two more questions while I've got your attention... I want to put Hid's in this thing but I don't want a lot of glare. Will the Escalade headlights fit this truck or is there a quality set of projector headlights that will work (like the older Denali's had)?
The stock exhaust was too quiet IMO so I replaced it with a Flowmaster dual exhaust, truck sounds awesome. Just get a tune and remove the 4 second delay,TM, speed limiter and it will be a completely different truck. I also want to get some long tube headers for my truck but I haven't found any out there yet. For the Chevy bowtie on the tailgate it is only held on by glue so if you remove it there will be no holes, I removed all the badges except the V-Max emblem and it looks way nicer. If u are going to remove the emblem do it on a hot day, it will be way easier to remove. Do u have rear disc brakes or drum brakes? Nice truck, tune it and enjoy that 6.0L.

Here is how the stock V-Max exhaust looks like:

Hello, I'm new here. Just picked up an '07 Vortec Max on Saturday. Loving the truck so far. It has 47k on it, but from what I can tell it drives like new. I've been reading a lot here, seems like each one was configured differently. This one is dark blue, has 6.0, 20's, LTZ with sunroof, 3.73's, trailer package, 4wd and navigation. Is that what the factory tailpipe looks like?
I have an 2007 V-Max LTZ also and when I had stock exhaust that is how it was, only NBS V-Max & Denali trucks have the exhaust coming out like that. Normal 5.3L truck have the tip going to the right.
-
Nice V-Max bro, add a tune to the truck and it will be a completely different truck. It won't be so sluggish with a tune, u should add the painted to match door handles & mirror covers it will bring up the look of the truck.
-
My trucks top speed is 92mph on stock tune, with my Black Bear Tune it is set at 130mph. I have had my truck at 120mph and it feels pretty stable for a truck.
-
I am twenty years old, I'll be twenty one next year.
-
Way too expensive for a 454SS, any links to the truck?

I run 91 octane from Chevron in my V-Max.
What Should I Do?

I suggest getting a DD to save money and build your truck the way you want it, I'm also looking at getting at Daily Driver to not put a lot of miles on my V-Max.
