  1. Yep, the gemtop Flush aluminum one I have is near impossible to get now too... And it would take a bed wing!!! Grrr I wanted a hard cover on JGP but didn't wanna loose OE wing hate soft covers personally. Seems best and only option is Gaylord with speedsturr
  2. thanks for the compliments! im still surprised that more people dont like the boost life idea on here, didnt get much response last time i posed it either lol
  3. awesome im glad you found a set! excited to see these on your truck, i bet they will look really good
  4. awesome- great choices there. and you got 3 of my personal favorites my normal conceal carry is a 3.8 Springfield XDm 9mm. i had that 3" Springfield XD before the small XDm came out. that was my favorite handgun, you should really check out the new XDm sub compacts. i have a 5.25" XDm 40 too, but LOVE the 3.8 XDm. whats your favorite handgun of those? they are all great guns, got a similar Sig too but its at home. the new Springfield doesnt look all that different from the standard sub compact XD if you were closer id just say lets go to the range lol OH i dunno if you have tried to get anyone to put night sights on your XD (most gunsmiths wont do XDs), i have fiber optic sights for mine and bought the $150 tool to properly press the XD sights if you want me to change them out for you
  5. if this is real, they shouldve used this money to keep the performance division open instead
  6. im starting a new thread real quick here for our decals. we cut just about anything you could want. but aside from custom creations, here are some decals we have come up with and stock/sell regularly. i had always been asked about "supercharged" or "turbocharged" logos and decals, so we decided to hand create SSS font to make OEM-style decals (we like the OEM look ) for our trucks! first theres the "Supercharged" and "Turbocharged" decals that are in the stock SS Silverado font. how did we do this, its not a font? we hand made each letter these are intended to go underneath your SS emblems but can be put anywhere basically. these are the same color as the OE "Silverado" decal under the SS on your tailgate... its like a charcoal metallic. they are available in the following: Color: standard color is the OEM Charcoal Metallic; custom colors available upon request. Size: standard sizes are small decals to go under your SS emblems; 12" meant to be used on the cowl or sides of the hood; and 14" also used for the hood or wherever you feel like putting them. the 12" look really good on the hood, i have them on my JGP truck. and the Charcoal is nice on black or any color really because it is subtle. prices on these are $15 shipped per decal, or $10 shipped per decal (for 2 or more). here are some pics of the decals: ] next, we have a very popular thing down here in south florida- not sure how wide spread it is but im sure its everywhere... "Salt Life" decals. a friend of mine and i came up with the idea to make a "boost life" decal, and place whatever means your boosted by in the middle (as opposed to the skull, dive flag, etc) such as a turbo, twin turbos, roots/twin screw, and centrifugal blowers. these are very popular and personally i love them. they are available in 8", 12", and 14". IMO 12" fits best on our trucks. they are available in ANY color. we have a pretty damn good match for ABM, and SBM. the other colors obviously match as they are standard colors (red, blck, etc). i have a "boost life" decal on all my vehicles except one (its the only one NA ). i dont have many in stock now, but am doing a large decal order end of this week- so if you want one now is the time to text or PM me price on these Boost Life decals is $15 shipped. NOTE: the three 14" boost life single turbo decals pictured above/below- these were special ordered and never picked up. if you want one of these particular three decals, i will sell them to you for $5 shipped, well less than half price. all 3 are 14" single turbo decals in the following colors: white, purple, and orange. these were for some diesel customers of mine, never picked up and i have no use for them. if you do, great! seeing as they are bright purple and orange, i dont expect anyone does im sure someone wants the white one though! ^thats obviously the roots/twin screw decal, and thats a 12" decal last, i doubt anybody wants any of these but we have plenty of Kelley Performance decals. i usually include them with parts when purchased through us and shipped to you, and also if work is performed. but if anyone would want one who has a mail order tune from me, or whatever they just like the way it looks (lol just being funny ) then we have those in two sizes as well. the standard 12" that we put on the windshields (its become where i put most all of them, i really like the look there) or on the back window; then there are the 8" ones for the side half windows, under hood, etc. they come in metallic silver or white, or can be ordered in any color. these are $8 shipped for either size. OR if you bought a part, tune, or had work done- they are obviously free if i forgot to send you one or you want one just text or PM me ^it fits perfect under the hood on the rad support cover ^thought it fit nicely there-not a sticker guy but i kinda need to promote at shows and what not John
  7. ok i think im gunna start a new topic for decals lol! SO everyone look for that thread- has more pics and details!! John
  8. i dunno jason says your just an RB and got plenty to toss around on whatever
  9. no i am totally ok with money. i find money and i get along just fine yeah thats fine, if anything changes before then ill let you know but i doubt that. that actually works since some of the parts were not in stock and the TC is built to order, so you just might get to see some tranny guts after all!
  10. thank god for that, last thing i need is more women problems theres really no point on a radix to go over 90mm... the inner diameter of the j tube is barely 90. if you had a front inlet like the TVS, now thatd be a different story... i ported my whole j tube but wasnt a whole lot i could take out. all we can do is get you a ported version of your LS2 throttle body, its still good for some power. every little bit counts yeah if you do decide to go SD, its still the same intake just no MAF or MAF housing. just a 4"/100mm tube in its place. also saves you some money
  11. uh oh lol... well if you get too frustrated with it we can take care of it when you bring the truck up to look it over, no big deal ill just take care of it later man, stop drinking and go to sleep lol
  12. is it really lol? i have people follow me into parking lots and shit and form crowds to ask me about that car LOL or submit your truck in at least as a readers ride... you do have a pretty damn nice truck. got a lot of money into it for sure
  13. your welcome! i gotta be responsible for at least 100 of those posts
  14. thats what im saying! i was thinking just the font from the bowtie for "VHO" but i like that idea a lot. come to think of it the whole bowtie design lit up would be cool... could do the SS bowties too
  15. yeah i can do that, to a tee like as exact as youd like it uh oh thats no good, i better hide no no this is your deal man, i was just thinking out loud here. it was mostly for myself but clearly others like it so... lol. im not even 40 here i dunno what your talking about and yes i will be up all night doing them till im happy, as you can clearly see i am doing that right now with something else i have problems, its what i do. i think all the covers should come from you, and money/orders go to you. then if the customer wants my idea, you can ship me your product for me to customize, then ill drop ship it to customer. this is your deal i will have a hard ass time doing a JGP logo, and we prob will never sell one anyways. but im sure ill end up doing it as its in my head now and its gunna bother me if i dont the SS and VHO will be no problem. i can make some prototypes soon for brandon to put pics and prices up for. i will do a cover in the shopman1 VHO bowtie font/logo and another in the VortecMAX logo thats on the doors of the newer Vmax trucks. sound good? also gunna do an "LSx" one too, in the exact GM font. that one will sell great as its "generic" in a sense for ANY of these vehicles. thats one of the most overlooked issues, no one believes me when i say to do that lol! it really does get nasty in those and causes all kinds of turbulence and skews the airflow readings all up EDIT: brandon, you never seen our 100mm Radix intake kit? it is an entire 4" intake all straight thru that goes from your airbox to your throttle, and gets rid of that ugly plastic tube that chokes down to like 3.25"... it brings a new polished intake tube 100mm, custom made billet 100mm MAF housing w/ better MAF sensor (no screen, reads more airflow so better for tuning and high HP vehicles not on SD tuning), silicone couplers and everything you need to install. ill put a pic of it up below... shows gains of 6-8 WHP on our dyno looks way better too IMO! ^that MAF pictured is a different MAF... thats lingenfelters REALLY overpriced MAF housing that uses the same MAF as my kit, just twice as much LOL. our housing looks exactly like that just polished not anodized
  16. here goes some more pics!! btw has anyone ever done a mirror? i dont recall seeing one... just curious. REMEMBER we do these conversions if anyone would like one done. they are available in red, green, white, blue, and pink (still working on pink but it looks pretty cool so far for those, like 2, girls on here ) more SWC pics: ^i like to leave the silicone blue covers on the SWC, as they act as a "diffusion" lens to spread the light more even and not so bright either. window switch/door module: ^notice i added two LEDs to the window switches, they were the one dull spot on the board back of a fog light switch- wanted to keep resistor out of the way JGP cluster before: JGP cluster after: JGP cluster LED pics: ^that would be the SMD 5mm LEDs placed in all the stock light locations. from there out i use flat top 5mm LEDs to get the best of both ^most of the lights installed... you might notice i used the black paint again to aim the light where i want it to go, and that some of the LEDs look blue. i use a blue sharpie a couple times on the tops to help break up and dim the light, so as more can go through the sides of the LED not just thru the top to hot spot. it actually works great. light still shines through the blue, but softer and less direct. stock single disc / tape radio: ^dont ask, thats a BITCH and 1/2!! and the white part has to depress down without making contact to anything :banghed: i think thats good for now- more pics of more conversions to come soon. send yours in so we can post all your pics up here next John
  17. lol thats funny, good point. andrews truck was actually in truckin, i had forgot that until you mentioned truckin just now... i think im gunna contact them after this upcoming build on my SSS is finished, and my JGP is more along the way. id love to get that exposure!
  18. yeah i have each letter saved, well each letter thats in "silverado" "turbocharged" or "supercharged". others id need to make
  19. yeah i know he told me about it, sounds badass. it already was one hell of a truck! so he still has them though? i just hit him up an hour ago, prob hear back tomorrow... if he still has them, buy them and they can be refinished either chromed or custom painted
  20. ok no sweat, i think you all might like my second idea better after you see it anyways... i have a vivid photographic memory so i can visualize these things to create them id let you see what it looks like in my mind, but if you accidentally bumped into anything else while up in my head looking around you may be scarred for life yes you could paint the bottom, but IMO the side i clear will be glossy-er. i use a real pricey clear coat and it looks "wet" after its done. usually theres no debris, unevenness, or noticable flaws in my small and custom paint parts that they dont need to be sanded/buffed, so they look even deeper and shinier than usual
  21. sounds good! i cant wait, these are gunna be cool dunno if we will have a line or anything, but hey im sure theyll sell. speaking of that... i am making another batch of 100mm Radix intakes next week, maybe i can do a package deal for Volant users who buy the KP 100mm Radix intake at a discount for both items you could always do that, i was thinking either just have them on +12V accessory power (always on with truck- they last like 100,000 hours anyways lol) and then have a micro-switch mounted somewhere of choice to override it to be on whenever switched on. IMO most people who wanna see under my hood the trucks usually running so itd already be on, and then for shows and such you could just flip the micro-switch. i use those little alarm remote start safety switches, they are like 1mm IF that, fit anywhere and arent noticeable
  22. i agree for my opinion on the lights... the best look for a white truck is OEM lights pulled apart and corners done black IMO. i dont like the all clear ebay ones on white either. although i think my headlights would look SICK on your truck... if you like them we can work something out then heres OEM lights with corners painted gloss black John
