  1. the trucks also got bigger throttle bodies, along with freer flowing intake/exhuast systems (from GM). the whole interior on the LTZ is different, its the same as a loaded 07 tahoe, looks much nicer(along with much better gauges ) however, for those of you who havent driven them, THEY ARE DOGS. definatly need some help in the GO department. but other than that, much much more refined than our trucks. only thing that bothers me is the 2 ft fender gap we are working on an LTZ right now. GMPP exhuast, GMPP intake, (any HP mods we can figure out and fit from the gen 3), some paint work(monochromatic, makes the truck look less obscurely large), 22's, lowering kit, GM fiberglass bedcover. should come out pretty
  2. although it may be a tad redneck in the overdone badging, you cant say that doesnt look like one fun sand/offroad rig it makes me want to go on some dunes
  3. cant beat a clean SS btw i tried to find those motoforge rims for you, no such luck. i plan on getting the spindles and hangers, ill be your test dummie
  4. thanks alot..... i dont know why i put that, i have groundforce shocks and groundforce torsion keys, beltech shackles in the rear (2")
  5. ya its got a big contact patch, and it looks like it throws the water pretty well. had them on the cobalt ss s/c, liked them alot.
  6. i am located between the broward and dade areas, in hallandale beach, fl. i did the work myself, kelley performance at kelley chevrolet
  7. no it will only cost $5,800 im thinking maybe some nittos, possibly the BFG KDW2. anyone have any sugestions?
  8. haha i knew i shoulda included that in the post..... i have like 2k of stereo stuff in the bed that ive been waiting several weeks for the comapny to custom install all of it.... they happen to have my isolator and wiring at their shop, never got arorund to installing it. battery has only been there for a week or so. think of it this way, if i have jumper cables i dont need another car!! jk
  9. thanks mario, you definatly need to drive it. i ended up being at the shop till 9 pm working on the wheels... balance machine needed to be calibrated and no one was there, so i took me a few hours and a few pounds of weights. but no vibration oh ya and the road force balance showed that yet ANOTHER Pirelli is out of round that makes THREE out of 5 tires bad
  10. BTW: Second Optima's isolator and wiring is in the bed, not installed yet. the battery does and will have a purpose lol
  11. most mods are listed in signature, but here she is
  12. yea mine are red.... GM prob goes from korean sweat shop, to bilstein, to mexico, then to china LOL i cut my stops as low as possible as to not tuck my big ass tires, and i have like 2 inches of travel without stops. i cant begin to explain the ride difference, it rides fantastic. its really stiff tho, and corners pretty damn well too..... why am i the only one who did this? i noticed it rides on the bumps from GM
  13. just like to add that chuck and FLT are a great comapny, and i would definatly buy from them. my tranny looks almost exactly like that one, but no hole. just shavings of teeth from anything keyed lol. i killed my stock tranny in 800 miles, and the only thing salvagable is the GM 5 pinion carries
  14. thanks for all the help lol...... already tore it down, fixed it, and put it back up
  15. does this tranny come with 4 or 5 pinion carriers? i thought the 65e had the 5 pinion, but my tranny tech is convinced that it has the 4..... zippy clue me in if you would also, i have a no reverse condition. if you rev like 3k it starts to slightly roll, but thats it. every other gear works great, no other issues at all. no leaks, brand new fluid, and plenty high line pressure (higher than stock) tranny tech thinks i broke the sun shell, but it worked fine before the shift kit?
  16. the 2003 kit is different from any year after that. it will fit the VHO truck, all you need is the fuel pump. use either a wlabro 255 lph in tank pump (get it from magnasun, this normally comes with the 04+ kit) this will also work: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.a...15&autoview=sku so that kit WILL bolt on to any 5.3, 6.0. you will need small things at the most; some shop supplies and some hoses maybe. the 2003 doesnt have a returning fuel system, so it just uses a pump booster that goes in the fuel line under the cab... either way its an extra 150 bucks. i can help anyone out with a baseline magnacharger tune
  17. im putting mine in today, anything i need to do? i was unaware of the thermostat....
  18. beautiful, very nice work. underhood is incredible.... did u put an 03-04 front end on an 06? you got drum brakes and an 03 front lol, thats what i did lol
  19. i have that intake installed right now as a matter of fact. works fantastic, and i saw no losses on the dyno over my old K&N CAI. also, the filter element is a bright redish orange paper filter, disposable. GMPP makes it, its not like an airriad or k&n. IMO the k&n type is a higher flowing filter, but the GM one is huge and the airbox works really nice. IAT before the throttle body went down a good bit over the k&n..... also, the polished tube included with the GM kit will fit the k&n polished tube inside of it thats my favorite part <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Kelly - Do es the GMPP intake kit sound any louder than the stock one? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yea its louder, but i have a magnacharger so i dont really notice the difference lol. its about the same as my old k&n FIPK cai tho, but it looks way better and installs in like 10 seconds. also, like i said before, the GMPP tube swallowed the k&n tubing.... about an inch bigger
  20. if its not sold ill take it, will pay immediatly
  21. and its a different offset and backspacing.... totally different. IMO they look tiny too
  22. how the hell did u run 6700 rpm? how does the tranny shift that? and those were stock internals?.....
  23. I cant seem to find any specs on my truck on SI or anywhere. i have a 14 bolt rear end, 3.73, what rear end is that? is it the eaton? also, about to do shift kit and corvette servos, anything else i might need? thanks BTW hope to be making 600 lb/ft so i need everything to hold up
