Today i was on I-75 when a green honda pulled up on me and wanted to play. It wasnt much to look at but sounded pretty good. We ran from about 80 to about 105 to 110. I pulled him by about 1.5 truck lenghts and was still pullin hard but shut it down because there are alot of cops here. He followed me off at my exit and we talked. He was shocked that my truck beat him he said that has never happened to him before. He said that was a new semi modded Vtec motor. Anyways thought it was pretty cool. Jason

I cant believe what im reading 5.3 vs 6.0 295hp vs 345 hp no way you whooped 1. I drive a 5.3 most of the week. Driving it is like a scooter my ss like a moto gp bike. Huge diffrence believe me the v-max had no idea you were racing because if he did all you would have seen was the bumper.

I installed my new tune and all i can say is I am very impressed with the power and the shifting is smooth. If your intrested in getting a tune you need to get 1. Im very pleased with his work. If your looking for your first mod or just looking for a Best Bang for your buck mod this is what you need. BTW thanks again Zippy.

I think that a x pipe will quite it down a bit. I have a dual in-out magnaflow with long tubes and highflow cats and it is pretty quite until you get on it a little.

Sounds cool to me. I know there are a few more guys up this way and around Jacksonville. I have seen quite a few SS trucks around but i dont know if there on the site.

Well im sure it was supercharged i do know a little about them. My buddys brother bought 1 and i ran him with my 96 chevy short bed. He beat me by about 2 truck lenghts both times we raced. I spun like crazy when we raced. After that i drove it and wasnt impressed at all for being supercharged. I know my SS is way faster than my old 96 was.

Dropping the tail gate is a myth. Get a bed cover cai, and drive it like a granny. I didnt buy my SS for fuel econamy i wanted the power.

Gas might be a little worse on the AWD. As far as out the hole the AWD should get the 2 wheel drive because its not spinning unless heaviley modded. And i dont think it could catch back up.

I met up with taw04ss and after leaving on I-75 i had a HD come up on me pretty fast. I stayed in front of him tring to get him to pass, but no go. I tried reving at him no go. I let him get within a car lenght of my bumper at 80 and ran up to 115 let off and no go. I did everything i could but nothing. When i got off at my exit then he punched it damn that pissed me off. I want to run 1 bad. I drove 1 and wasnt impressed.

Dont even take a second thought tell the guy with the SRT-10 lets run. If you lose you lose no big deal. That thing has 500 ponies. You might be shocked he might not know how to drive it either.
