Same here, 6.2 or Duramax next. I have a 40ft , 19,000 lb boat that needs trailering every now and then. So my Duramax has to stay around if I end up with a 6.2 denali.

In a supercharger application, they will help tremendously. Your boost will actually go down, after you put headers on, but that's because boost is just a measure of restriction! Your engine will flow a good bit more air, and you will pick quite a bit of power. It's a worth while mod.

The new Duramaxs are so sweet, way more truck and motor than their 1/2 ton counterparts. But dang have they gotten exspensive!!! Not sure whether I keep the 2009 or re up in November myself.

Just get some PAC 1218s they are good for .600 lift. Or 1518 for .625

Truck really needs to be tuned for you new converter. Some things like TCC duty cycle, and shift parameters. And some more I'm prolly forgetting about. There is also a code that I had to turn off, for the life of me I can't remember which one, but it's a common occurrence on these trucks... I think shift solenoid b???

That's good to know. Being AWD, I wonder how that 29" tire you spoke of would do on the stock wheels. I haven't done any research on this topic at all.

Well it's been ordered. Black with black chrome wheels. Black interior. About 8 weeks till it gets here.

Do this^^^. Mine came out easily with a 1/4 rachet. Soaked them everyday for a week straight.
