  1. My advice, jump to a 35. Fountains are short lol. 35 really measures 32. But with 525s they will fly, 90+.
  2. New LS3 ain't much more than that ;).
  3. You can get a reman engine from GM for around 1900 bucks. You can't beat that. That's a longblock LQ9.
  4. He has a 224/230 comp. It's a stout cam. It needs a higher stall than the stock converter.
  5. I think more shift extension (more stall) would help out a ton in third, my cam is ground straight up, so power really comes in at 4500+ rpm. In my video I drop down to 4k on the third shift. Does that sound right?
  6. Bigger stall, heads, intake, and boost is in the works. Oh yeah and some parts for my poor stock trans.

  8. Big thanks to chpspecial, he helped me tune it in for the bigger injectors. I did a lot of logging today, and the changes he made were right on the money, except some small tweaking in the idle airflow tables, which is to be expected. Waid
  9. And purple and blue lol. Look at your headers near the flange. We weld this stuff every single day.
  10. Yeah they will turn blue and purple. 409 is a lesser grade of SS.
  11. You lose hp through fluid coupling, some converter are more efficient than others. It's really not related to the stall RPM.... But fluid coupling efficiency, turbine and stator design etc.
  12. TCC unlocked WILL affect HP numbers.
  13. It sucks when things don't come together perfectly, but that is modding my friend. But when it finally does come together, you won't be able to beat the smile off your face lol.
  14. Chris builds an awesome converter. I'm very pleased with his product and will purchase from him again.
