  1. The 4x4 block is actually 1 1/2" rise. The difference from a 4x2 (1/2 ton) truck is the block. *Stock 4x4 shock is +2" *Remove block = stock 4x2 shock *-4" = same How's your head? Leakage? I don't know. Never read that anywhere but, as mentioned, they have a lifetime warranty.
  2. 34023 rears are perfect height for my 4x4 -4" shackle w/block removed. I didn't order the fronts yet because I wanted to see if the rear would go up or down with these, first. It did settle down slightly and is now totally level with no rake. It also rides 10x smoother compared to the stocks being compressed all the time. Now the (stock) fronts feel too stiff.
  3. Thanks for all the info guys. Based on this, I'm ordering: EDL-33024 front (Tahoe/Suburban/Avalanche 2wd/4wd) EDL-34023 Rears (For 99-2005 2WD 1500s Lowered 4" in the Rear) My 4x4 is lowered w/2" spindles and cranked down 2" more up front; 4" drop shackle -2" 4x4 block spacer. The load up front of my CC is more like that of an SUV and a 2wd rear just has less travel, not less capacity. A half ton is a half ton. If tow/haul ever becomes an issue I'll just slap in helper bags. Thanks again!
  4. I only dropped 5' IAT on a 100 dry shot at 900psi. You can also play around with nozzle direction/distance relative to the MAF to influence A/F. It's better to let the MAF go a little rich anyway to avoid KR and sacrifice power while spraying. I'm just running 4' less timing all the time now while NA + the colder TR6's. Overall, my mpg has increased 10%, there's no knock and no concerns of detonation, just playing it safe. And yeah, superchargers with nitrous are a lethal combination. Make sure the heads are torqued down!
  5. I'm now at 24' with a 100 dry shot and A/F at 12 w/no KR.

    Sig Pix

Just based on the replies you're still a bunch of sick pups! ITSJAC is exaclty what I was wondering about; putting up your own girl in teh sig. Killer attitude on her BTW! Yeah, I'll use Wifey for a sig pic if anyone around here can make that happen using some pix. dirty, dirty bowtie pigs! Anyone else exploiting his chick around here?
  7. Hands down, there's more sig pix on this board with insane chix than any other board I've seen! What gives? Someone around here is poaching swimsuit sites or something... It's hilarious! Who's actually pimpin' his own girl? Anyone??? And, if there's a "sig guru" around here, I'd like to have one done with my own women! My wife's a former swimsuit model herself and was just looking over my shoulder saying, "If those are their girls, I want to see what these guys look like!" LOL!
  8. 15.3 avg on the DIC. Mine went up with H/C swap!
  9. All the above + have your tune ready to go from Zippy when you install it. It's gonna big make alot of power up high and idle real l u m p y... Should be fun!
  10. See what happens when GM puts a Vette motor in a SUV! Should've just given the LS2 to the trucks...
  11. Rausch- There's two trucks around here that have done L92 heads and L76 intakes. Neither one has nailed down their tuning yet and aren't running right. Both went with big cams and 480 trannys at the same time. The heads are a great value for the what you pay/flow you get but you might want to be careful as to how much cam you choose. Don't grow too big too fast, based on what's been happening. There are plenty of proven options available to make power without being the guinea pig. In the end, it's still just a H/C/I swap.
  12. 3" Magnaflow turndowns Barely visible
  13. Zippy, Assuming that he's having some tranny problems, what do you suggest for a remedy? Those symptoms sound familiar. Mine behaved alot like that at the drags last summer. Then it began slipping sometimes and got an occassional clunk. This weekend it locked up under load, broke the driveshaft and transfer case. Hate to see an ounce of prevention turn into a ton of repair!
