Since I have gotten rid of my Vmax, I have the tuned PCM that I had bought from PCMforless and has been tuned by Zippy also. I dont know how much they are being sold for, so throw me a number out there...if thats allowed.

Dealer states that they will give me 12,000 for my truck....good deal or no? 2 small dents on hood from hurricane, passenger door was repainted and not 100% match (slight blemishes?) Besides that she runs good.

Yah a 4 door Wrangler has alot more room than an extended cab silverado. I know for a fact I am going to miss the 6.0l, but the new Jeep Wrangler motor dos have 282 horsepower instead of the old 202 horsepower. If my truck was awd or 4wd I wouldnt even be getting rid of her...

Just the sport unlimited, max tow (3.73 gears), hardtop and 24s package(power windows and stuff)

So I finally made a decision and unfortunately the truck is going away. Wanted 4wd and more room specially with having a little one. Ordered a 2014 4 door Jeep Wrangler. The truck will be traded in unless someone in the Maryland area wants an 06' Vortex Max. Thanks for all of the information I requested even when I could have used the search button haha.

Are these AWD or 2WD? My truck has 85,000 miles now and I am thinking about getting something else and possibly 4wd but AWD would be just as good for me...

You keeping the headers? Salisbury, Md here, pretty close by haha. Would love to have the supercharger as well, but just bought an Ar-15 so probably cant swing that with the wifey haha

Does this mean my converter is slipping? Video is me cruising in o/d and giving a little throttle.

Doing it this summer...should be fun and who doesnt like fun exercise haha...

Finally got the truck looked at and of course they could not reproduce the problem. The mechanic was cool and stated that it sounds like the torque converter could be going bad. Anyone know a decent shop on the eastern shore of Maryland or Delaware to do the work? And anyone recommend a decent TC that wont break my account?

I am not getting any check engine lights. Today again I was driving about 73 mph and I hear the engines rpms raise some. So I observed that the RPM's were around 2300 when they are usually around 2000 when at 73mph and in overdrive. I gave it a little push on the gas pedal and the rpms climbed alot faster then they would if it was in overdrive. Then the truck went back into what I believe is OD. I know every once in a while when I would start my truck it would jerk a tiny bit like it was stuck in gear or something. I am not very mechanic wise as you can see by my posts. So could it be the TC? or if anyone is in the Salisbury, MD area and wants to go for a ride and see for yourself?

Everything with the tranny is stock. I was also thinking could it be the torque converter?

So I am driving to NC right now and my overdrive does not always kick on. Sometimes I am driving and I feel the rpms drop as it goes back into overdrive. Any thoughts on why? Help haha

I was in Iraq when my wife got her 2009 Cobalt SS/TC and damn it is fun. You need to get a K&N Intake and listen to that turbo....fun cars for sure. Go to Cobaltss.net and see the Cobalts with just a tune running low 13's.

I know mine is the heat shield I believe....rattles sometime about half way on the throttle then once I level out on the gas it goes away...
