both frame rails are bent 1 about a foot behind the bumper bracket and in front of the rear wheels....

yeah our sitter had permission to use our vehicles...but from what i understand in pennsylvania if the driver has permission and the vehicle is in a accident then it will be covered...especially when its hit from the rear like that...

what a way to come home from a 2 week vacation in cabo only to find out our babysitter took the ss out and got rear ended......WTF! thankfully the sitter and my 17 year old were in the SSS and not the 03 monte ss as a STS failed to use his brakes and plowed into the rearend starting a 3 car chain reaction.... the cop said that is one strong truck because there could have been at least 3 deaths...2 in my truck and the minivan in front of them... the old guy was taken away in a amblance and was cited on the spot...Ill take plenty of picts as soon as the sun comes up... peace, rob

had a 1997 suburban which the trans was slippin'...(3rd trans)took it to the dealer to get a 2nd opinion(they changed the fluid) went from service to sales...walked up to a 1500 silverado looked inside seen cloth interior...said to the wife...cloth interior, she pointed at the black SSS sitting next to it and said you sould get that one we'll match( she has a 2003 monte SS - black) never told her about the 28k sticker...next morning I called the dealership and drove it home!

Ok....dropped the SS off last nite....along with the copy of the TSB .... they just called to tell me that the TSB is not for our truck we have a different RPO ...they pulled the drain plug and it came out hairy as ever. So now they have to keep the truck and open the front diff to see what is what..... to be continued

The last time I was in the dealership I was told there is no TSB that exists for the groan comming from the front end...and without one I could be responsilble for the labor if nothing is found beacause the sound im hearing is "normal AWD noise"...I am so close to trading it in..

i know ... i have this extended warranty til '09...I have everything i wanna put in ( zippy tune,zippy towing kit,t stat,trans cooler) I just dont want them to say its because I have all this installed...I dont know what to do

Ok so now I have been told that they will do the hub bearings and "look at the carrier" if there is no damage I will be resonsilble for the entire bill to reinstall. wtf! Hi everyone, A while back I posted about my thousand dollar windfall to mod out my truck...Here's what I ended up with: - bought a $100. PCM off a fellow member - Zippy tune for it - $150. - Zippy towing kit for the trans - $200. - $200. for the install - $100. for a B&M extra capacity trans cooler and the hard lines and fittings from a fellow member - GM bug deflector $74.99 - 160* t-stat from Auto Zone $31.99 Thats $857.... the rest is going for gas for all the test runs

Hey misterp thank you for the advice Im just trying to get this settled so i can have my zippy kit, zippy tune ,and tbtc so i dont blow the warranty... my concern is if i let them do the hub bearings and they dont get it right because of not getting the tolerances right or something im just "feeding the spider the fly" if you know what i mean. i can live with it thanks to bose but i paid for the warranty...its not gonna blow or anything like that is it? thanks, rob
