i have a black 03 AWD 45,000 miles in excellant condition w/ flowmasters, Volant CAI w/ scoop, black AR 311 22's, Wood dash and interior, carriage works 5pc billet grill, dual aeroforce scan gauges in autometer a-pillar pod, SS floor mats, antenna delete mod, extang soft tonneau and im in missouri and can meet halfway if need be.... super 40's arent very loud compared to just normal 40 series the supers have a larger casing. i had a set of dual supers on a 98 5.7 and it was very quiet until you had the pedal to the floor, and there was very little drone. 40's have lots of drone exspecially if you dump them, super 44's are the loudest by far and will create lots of drone if dumped. in general smaller casing= loud/drone

I knew i was right about someone using some kind of film, i think im just going to have my body man mix up some black/clear mix and spray them

well i swear someone did it, cause if it would last it would be a great alternative that would be removeable

im not talking about smoking tails with paint. I want to be able to remove the film if i have to because the cops and hi-pos are dicks around here, i have seen some done before around the site, i just wanted to know what percent tint they used

all you guys that have tinted tails waht did you use on them. was it actual window tint or did you use vinyl. I talked to my tint guy today and he hasn't done a set before and we were going to try window tint first. oh and another question how long has your film lasted and has it discolored. if you guys would post some pics too that would be great cause im still trying to decide how dark to go with it

i jsut scanned 3 codes today and need to know some info on them 1. P0120 throttle/pedal position sensor/switch A circuit malfunction 2. p0220 throttle/pedal position sensor/switch B circuit malfunction 3. p1516 ? dont know what it is so should i be worried or can i just clear them i need to know ASAP please because i need to drive my truck thanks

I just got a pair of scan gauges and was just wondering what wire i need to tap into for power and pics would help if anybody has any? cause i would like to put them in tomorrow

hey guys i have been a lurker for a long time and finally decided to intrduce myself, I just acquired a 03 black AWD SS w/ 31,000 miles and its awesome. I have already put Black 22's on it with 305/40 R22 Toyos, dumped flowmasters and a Volant CAI w/ ram air, Im only 19 and this is my 4th turck, I also own a 98 fullsize Z71 with tint, flows,K&N, 20's for summer and 05 factory 17's wtih 285' forr winter, its also got speed grilles and al clear headlights and its my daily work truck. Im looking forward to some major mods and just from lurking around you guys are a bunch of help and SSS.com rocks
