  1. After 8.5 good years, it's time to say goodbye 2001 Chevy Silverado ECSB 4x4 LS VIN 2GCEK19T311336296 Indigo Blue Metallic Neutral interior color 172,000 miles and some change Was originally a Z71 (still has skid plates) 3.73 gears A/C, P/S, P/W, P/L, Cruise, stock CD player w/ premium sound, ABS, dual power seats, towing package w/ external trans cooler. Engine/drivetrain has been returned to 100% bone stock, from top to bottom, back to front. 5.3/4L60E, 110,000 miles on engine/trans. Both came from the same donor truck. Engine has a little bit of piston slap on cold startup (very common on these engines) but goes away after a minute or two. Otherwise both feel very solid. Paint is in great condition for the age of the truck. It has been garage kept for probably 75% of it's life. There are a few small paint chips here and there from normal use, but overall I'd give the paint a 9/10. Interior is also in great condition, probably a 9/10. There's one or two stains in the carpet from spilled drinks, but they are minimal and in hard to see locations. The steering wheel is a little bit worn from normal use, and there a few spots on the dash plastics where the paint has worn through, but they are small. I just had Dustin (2005 Silverado) do a complete detail, inside and out. Polished/buffed/waxed the paint, shampooed the carpets and seats, etc etc. He did a FANTASTIC job....truck has not looked this good since the day I drove it off the lot. I am the only owner, drove the truck off the lot at Van Chevrolet in Scottsdale, AZ brand new with 8 miles on the odometer in April of 2001. NOTE - If you run a Carfax report, it will show two owners. My family's company bought the truck new and I drove it, and then bought it personally about 2 years ago. So while it has had two LEGAL registered owners, it has been MY truck since day 1. Never been smoked in. AZ truck for it's whole life, no rust ANYWHERE. Extras: 35% tint on front windows 6% tint on rear windows (35% film laid over factory tinted glass) Clifford Solaris alarm w/ remote start and remote window kit Reflexxions steel cowl hood Linex spray-in bedliner Titan 18" wheels Toyo Proxes S/T 275/55-18 tires Tahoe chrome grille shell with billet inserts Z71 Tahoe lower air dam/valance Clear corners w/ Silverstar bulbs 05+ tail lights Removed factory lift blocks with 2" drop shackles in the back Decranked torsion bars up front Belltech drop bumpstops all around Belltech Streetperformance shocks all around Powerslot +1 2 piece rotors up front with Hawk pads Baer +1 slotted and drilled rotors out back with OEM pads Russell stainless braided brake lines Hydroboost conversion Detroit Truetrac out back Maintenance: For the first 60% of it's life, this truck was religiously maintained by the dealer. Since then, I have personally done all of the maintenance on it. ALL replacement parts on this truck have been genuine GM parts. I never put ANY cheap parts on this truck (ask 64CAMINO how many times I've been in to buy parts from him ;) ) Less than 15k miles on the brakes Rear axle and front diff have approx 30k miles on it since FULL rebuild (all bearings, seals, etc) T-case rear half was replaced about a year ago because of pump rub. It now has the updated clip. New engine oil, trans fluid & filter, coolant, and Autotrac fluid Payoff was sent to the bank on 12/2, I should have a clean title in hand within 2 weeks. Kelley Blue Book gives me a private party value of $8755. I'm asking $8000 obo. Don't mind the crappy looking engine cover in these pics...it's going to be replaced with a nice one.
  2. Ok well whatever it is, I have a transfer case input gear that accepts the output shaft from the 4L80E. It replaces the input gear on the Autotrac t-case to allow a 4wd Autotrac truck to run a 4L80E. If the AWD t-case is the same, then it will work in that too.
  3. Replied...I am definitely willing to split everything up as long as the trans is the first thing to go
  4. Thanks for the into. I edited my post above to show that this was from a 4wd setup.
  5. Is it just the spline count that's different? Or is the whole thing different?
  6. Not sure what caused it but the truck went into limp mode while he was sitting in the staging lanes. I happened to have my EFILive cable in my truck, pulled his DTC's and there were several in there about losing communication with the TAC module. I just cleared his codes and everything was fine again.
  7. Complete 4L80E setup from my 4wd truck FLT level 5 4L80E, 4wd, approx 12k miles on it Hughes 25A-20L converter 4wd Transfer case input gear Transfer case to trans adapter Flexplate & Spacer Modified stock tranny crossmember Front and rear driveshafts second VSS harness Dipstick tube Shifter cable bracket Lower bellhousing cover Asking $3500 plus shipping Blue AN fittings in the pic have been replaced with factory clip-in fittings
  8. Hey guys so what's the plan for meeting up ahead of time? Time and place? I'm coming to watch, my buddy is coming to race. I'm driving the D-max and bringing his trailer just in case someone needs a lift home
  9. Garrett GT4202R dual ball bearing water cooled turbo. Includes compressor outlet v-band fitting, both water fittings, and oil feed and drain flanges. Used for approx 1 year / maybe 8000 miles. Specs here. $1950 plus shipping. I also have a turbo blanket to go with it, $100. It's held up very well for the year that I've had it on there, unlike the popular ones that burn through.
  10. 1500 watts RMS, "birth sheet" said it was north of 1600w as tested. 2 ohm stable, mono amp, with bass boost knob. $250 + shipping **sold**
  11. Selling the sub box I made for my truck. Will fit 99-02 extended cab for sure, and I'm assuming all the way through 07 classic but I have not tested. Box has 2 Rockford Fosgate Punch HX2 10" DVC 2 ohm subs. Common chamber, built with slot ports, tuned to about 33 Hz. Subs handle 500w RMS each. I was driving them with a RF Power 1500bd amp (also for sale, ask if interested). 3/4" MDF. Fits under rear seat with no modifications. Asking $300 for the box with subs. Local only - I will NOT ship. $150 for box without subs $150 for subs "Under construction" pics so you can see how it was made.
  12. kbracing hot parts kit, everything v-band clamped where possible Crossover has narrowband O2 bung for driver's side Log manifold has narrowband O2 bung for passenger side, and pyrometer probe bung Autometer Z-series pyrometer gauge and sender GT4202R turbo, water cooled, dual ball bearing Water fittings for turbo (these were ridiculously expensive for what they are) Turbo blanket Intake pipe with K&N filter 3.5" downpipe w/ wideband bung Boost actuated cutout, bolts to stock cat-back location ebay intercooler, pretty good sized All 3" cold side piping, designed to fit around stock clutch fan shroud Synapse Synchronic blowoff valve w/ K&N filter Synapse Synchronic 50mm wastegate Hallman Pro RX manual boost controller & mounting bracket Oil feed line Oil feed fitting (for the oil port above the filter) -10AN oil drain My oil pan with weld-on fitting for drain line All vacuum lines, etc The A/C line that I had custom made to clear the downpipe and log manifold Heater hose line from the turbo to the water pump IAT sensor Edelbrock Vic Jr intake manifold Edelbrock fuel rails Edelbrock 4 bbl throttle body Extreme Velocity carb hat My throttle cables (pedal and cruise) that have been cut to fit, with Lokar cable ends All of the "little" nickel and dime fittings that end up costing an extra $500 and 15 hours of time $6000 complete Willing to split up the intake manifold setup from the turbo setup This is probably one of the most complete kits you will ever see come up for sale on this forum. I have used all quality parts during the build, and have literally have listed EVERYTHING I CAN THINK OF that would relate to the turbo kit and intake manifold. If you have installed a turbo kit before, you know that generally a turbo kit will take a few hours to install, then you spend an extra $500 and two weeks figuring out and buying all of the miscellaneous couplers, fittings, clamps, vacuum line, etc etc etc that are needed to make everything come together. 99% of the "little" (not so little) stuff is included with this kit. There is also no additional welding needed to mate this up to an exhaust system. I have run up to 15 psi through my engine. Ran a best of 11.27 @ 119 in the quarter mile. I have not had it dyno'ed, but I am guessing that I was putting down over 700hp and 800lb-ft to the wheels, through a transfer case and a 4L80E. There is still way more left in the kit too....I think at 18 psi I could get a 10 second pass in. Keep in mind, this is an extended cab 4wd truck, probably somewhere between 5200 and 5400lb raceweight. Right now, the kit is still on the truck. I will remove it once I have a serious buyer and a $300 deposit. I have taken some pics below. If you want more detailed pics or more information, please feel free to post in here or send me a PM.
  13. Jeez spreading damn rumors you crazy cooter! Yeah like you bending over to tie your shoe was rally a "coincidence". Not my fault you got in the way.
  14. I had a weld on my Corsa muffler develop a hole. I called, the guy asked me to email him a pic, so I did. Within a day I was notified that they were sending me a new muffler for exchange, and to ship the old one back when I received the new one. The guy said he really wanted to get mine back into their R&D lab or whatever too so they could figure out what happened. They were 100% on top of my situation...it's weird that they didn't do the same for you. Seemed like they were very concerned with the problem I was having. I did not have my original proof of purchase, but I told them when I got it (probably 2003) and which shop I got it from and that seemed to be enough for them. My kit is 5 years old and probably has 90,000 miles on it and they warrantied it with no issue.
  15. Nice facility, but busy as shit. Every time I go to Firebird I only get 3-4 runs in the entire night.
  16. Oh shit, yeah I didn't see that you were in Queen Creek. That's a long-ass drive!!
  17. Two of my old setups in the same truck: 5.3/60e/Radix/9psi - 13.57@99 6.0/80e/Radix/9psi - 13.64@104 It's pretty typical to see the 80E increase your ET but also increase your trap speed. It's all in the 60 foot, and IMO because of the change from 3.06 to 2.48 1st gear.
  18. Hey man, my two roommates (Kyle and Mike) were out there that night, said they talked to you for awhile. We're going back out to Speedworld on Friday night if you're interested...I just put a tranny back in my truck, so I'll be out there racing this time too...hoping to cut a few more tenths off my 11.63 best
