My previous passport 8500 x50 alarm went off when at WOT

I took my tints off after going threw CPD's standard procedure for pulling over a vehicle with front window tints. I wonder if any other inteligent cruise control equiped vehicle will set off as laser or radar alarm?
-
I have also had that happen. I also have a V1 and the laser really gets your attention. It has saved me many times, but the officer still wrote me a seatbelt ticket.

I have noticed that Infinity QX56s are setting off my radar detector. They set off as Laser, which grabs your attention pretty quick. Many times it has been a QX56. Has any one else noticed this?

Whining Noise From My Trans.
MozeSS523 replied to MozeSS523's topic in AWD, Differential, & Transmission Tech
Does anybody else have converter that makes noise? -
Recently I Installed an FLT 4L65E-5 Extreme Duty – Level 5 trans. It is great, and the truck is faster. Now 4,000 miles later it makes a whinning noise only under a load, even light accels. Is this comming from the conveter? I have a Yank Pro Truck 3200. I am looking to find another conveter so I could get rid of the whinning noise, and find a more streetable stall speed. How many discs are in my converter? Is the TC just broken in? So this is Yank's description of the TC i put in. YANK PRO TRUCK 3200 4L60E/4L65E LS1 258mm, Posi Lock-Up Clutch w/Kevlar Linings, 6 bolt mounting lugs , lightweight billet cover, 3200 stall, 2.30 STR LS1 I also was at the track tonight and realized I have no High end power 60-2.093 1/8-9.4 1/4-14.9 I was wondering if some had any suggestions on what the next step should be. Thanks

I have a custom tune for the headers, we used hp tuners. I used that to turn off the emissions monitor

I had the dynatech long tubes installed in febuary and hours after I started throwing codes for the post cat 02 sensors. I figured it was because of the new location of the sensors and the amount of flow that was affecting the readings. After I got sick of clearing the codes weekly, I turned the emmision monitors off. I am now trying to find another soloution, and before making a decision I would really appreciate some input from from ya'll. Should I be conserned that it is throwing codes in the first place? Should I turn the monitors back on and just put some simulators on the post sensors? I am also going through the same problem with a Trailblazer SS with kooks headers, and will probably do the same thing to it. Does anyone see problems that would arise from doing this? Thanks
-
I am having the same exact promblem after installing dynatechs. Can I change the 02 parameters? What does everyone mean by delete, is that just telling the pcm to forget about the 02s? Will it always be in open loop?

Headers need a sticky thread.

I plan on ordering the dynatech LTs, with the creamic coating, cats, and intermediate pipe. I currently have a corsa with a y pipe before the muffler. I do not know which style o2 sensors I a have. Should I order it with the square style or the trapezoidal? What kind of gaskets would anyone recommend? -
Thank you

I can not find this so callled black sheep truck. Can anyone let me know where I can look up some specs on this truck, maybe some videos? That blue truck is old news, it was on the power tour and in hot rod mag like 3 years ago. Is the blacksheep truck another parish project?

The Stock Tailgate Spoiler is attached with some adhesive. It’s not easy taking off the stock spoiler with out damaging it. I ripped my stock spoiler while taking it off. I am not sure how the intimidator's attaches, I would assume it uses adhesive as well.
