  1. UPDATE: I may have found the one! check it: http://nashville.craigslist.org/cto/4615963018.html Idk, this is either a scam or the guy is an idiot cause he labeled it c5 with z06 wheels when its actually a c6 with zr1 wheels... some peoples kids :/
  2. Come on #3!!! Daddy needs a new radiator cover!!!
  3. Wow thanks for all the input guys. Yes, I've driven many camaros (valet for four years in college, plus president of the muscle car club haha). This is definitely a hard one, I've decided to tackle this on a car by car basis. Meaning that I know I'd be happy with either one so I'm going for the best deal and hoping to get a hold of one someone just needs to get rid of after they've already dumped money in to tasteful mods. I travel all over the country so I'm open to getting on a plane for the right car and I'll keep you guys posted! If I stop by one of your home states to get a new beast we'll have to grab a beer and check out your vehicles.
  4. If you decide to make a run of the radiator covers again I'll pay you up front and looks like there are at least two or three other people interested in them... let me know!
  5. Hey guys, I'm looking for some outside opinions on my next garage queen to keep my SS company. I'm torn between the LS3 powered Camaro SS or the LS2 C6 Corvettes. Now, I've always loved the corvettes and originally set out to find a vette but seeing how the LS3 C6s are still 30 plus I just assumed spend high 30s at that point for a z06. I don't think I'm quite ready to drop z06 money so, while looking at older C6s I realized the 2010-11 Camaro SSs are going for 25k with some nice mods. I know the base corvette is faster and this will be mostly a toy for me so that plays a factor but after seeing so many zr1s and z06s I just feel the C6 base model is, well base. One the other hand, 25k gets me a fully load RS/SS LS3 Camaro under 50k miles. So I'm torn, due I get the base vette or a decked out Camaro SS that is a little slower but 5 years newer and more aggressive looking. For reference, here is one of the Camaros: ***MEAN 2010 CAMARO 2SS/RS for sale!!!(lots of pics) Here is one of the Corvettes in that price range: F/S '05 Vel. Yellow C6 Coupe M6 Z51 1SB $25k I'm leaning toward the Camaro but I know the Vette is a good set of wheels away from being sexy and maybe as quick as the Camaro (that beast has some nice bolt on mods so who knows). Give me your thoughts! GO!!! Thanks in advance for you help! -John
  6. Can't do that in Cali man... you will get sued by them or their family if you kill them and they WILL win in that state :/ Plus, if you were protecting your stuff only and not in immediate/imminent danger of death then you will go to jail for murder.
  7. This is one of the reasons I hate So Cal. It really is a shame, geographically speaking So Cal is pretty awesome but the politics, prices, and a lot of the people truly suck.
  8. Demodding!? Aww man are you selling the SS? Anyways I've got the same setup sitting in my garage waiting for me to put it on for years now (overseas again, i should apply for Afghanistan residency at this rate). However, I need the x-link and just haven't gotten around to ordering it so I'll take it off your hands. I'll be sending a you a PM.
  9. Man those tail lights as sick! I'd get them but they just wouldn't go good with my blue SS since its has more of a silver/chrome look rather than a blacked out look. I bet they go quick, GLWS!
  10. I wouldn't get your hopes up, this thread is over five years old. Good news is these things are pretty easy for any decent sign/graphics/shirt printing type shops to make, just give them some dimensions. Let me know if you find someone! I think there is a guy on here that can make them and someone will probably be along shortly to pass on that info. Good luck man.
  11. If it involves wheels, I probably do it. I ride enduro, mx, mx-atv, streetbike, etc etc and just good ole free roam off road too. I have a DR650 dual sport for my adventures on and off road, a yz250 two stroke for mx and some more open space riding (occasionally take it in the woods when I'm feeling ballsy enough to wrestle it), a yfz450 for all kinds of off road and to carry women that don't wanna ride their own, and a GSXR 1000 for the streets and tracks. Love riding!!!
  12. Well I reckon we can give him props for setting the bar high by targeting Chevy and not taking the easy way out with Ford, Dodge, or Toyota! Naw... scratch that, he's a moron regardless haha. To each their own I reckon.
  13. Since when is this a bad thing?!?! Your trucks lookin go so they wanna make sure they're lookin good too! Now stop standing and staring and make a move man haha
  14. Man that looks great! and haha i didn't even notice the second pic until after reading 1bad2k's post... funny
  15. Thanks for doing that! Much easier than making folks jump to the other site. Yeah that is Tennessee mud! I loaded it down and made a cross country trip the week I got it! Pulls great and handles the mud beautifully I weighed getting a 1500 All Terrain edition with the 6.2 HEAVILY cause I really love the new interior but man you just can't beat the pull of a diesel and I got a heck of a deal on this 2014 since the new HDs were only months from the lot. I love it so far! Already miss it, back overseas again so right now the pictures of it and the SS are all I have.
  16. Got a new truck in the few weeks I was home from overseas! I kept the SS (of course), that thing isn't going anywhere. Well here is my new beast to play with, I posted photos on the Facebook page not to long ago so some of you may have seen it. It's a 2014 (couldn't wait for the '15 plus the deal was right) 2500HD Sierra with a Duramax of course! ***pics are to big to load so here is my topic on DieselPlace that I started... check it! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/76-speciality-forums/481-suspension-steering-2011/616745-new-guy-new-truck-new-2014-a.html#post6088193
  17. Yeah I've heard that as well. Unless you are going to drop the tranny for a rebuild, which would clean all that sludge that they fear being dislodged.
  18. Well in an ideal world, you would get a 6.0 with a supercharger haha but I would look heavily in to the 6.0 if you want to keep the truck for a long time because once you supercharge the 4.8 there is only so much more to do but with a 6.0 you get a nice jump in power plus you can still add a supercharger to it later down the road! So in the long run, if you're not planning on selling that truck like ever ha, get a 6.0! but if you just want to drive around until you can trade in then maybe the 4.8 with the supercharger isn't to bad an idea. Remember too you can always pull the supercharger off and sell it then upgrade to a 6.0 or something. Tons of options man, tons. Good luck!
  19. It's some chrome removal away from a good lookin truck, but to each their own
  20. I hated it, but I couldn't help but look... like a train wreck, you just can't help but watch! and hahaha I didn't even notice the for sale sign on the ford, thats pretty darn funny right there
  21. yeah my out the door price was well lower than that, I wouldn't pay that much either.... I actually considered a vette but I don't want to abuse the SS by pullin my toy hauler and the vette wouldn't quite look right with a trailer hahaha
  22. Haha it aint happened official yet because I'm on the other side of the world but getting the paper work ironed out and heres the link from the dealer's site to the truck: http://www.connellchevrolet.com/new/Chevrolet/2013-Chevrolet-Silverado+2500HD-costa-mesa-b3c63d210a0a0049011170a93af38c1b.htm P.S. I didn't pay anywhere close to that online price haha thank god P.P.S. I have tons of ideas already flowin through my head about what direction to go with it, feel free to pitch in... may have to move this outta for sale and in to off topic or photos once they're up!
  23. Well, I just got off the phone with the chevy dealer and I'll be picking up my 2013 (left over, hell of a deal) 2500HD Crew Cab LTZ on Feb 10th!!!! Oh and it's already lifted!!! Trading in my 2011 Rubicon which will be hard to let go but I've wanted another Dmax for some time and have plenty of other off road toys for the trails the jeep would've been fun on. This will be a sweet return from the sandbox for me, other than the few seconds of pain handing over the jeeps keys until I jump in my new beast!!!!!
