I’m sure you already know and don’t want to pay retail but in case you didn’t complete grille, bumper covers and hoods are all still available from Chevy.

Like the title says, I’m looking for a 90mm j-tube for an MP112.

I actually just picked this one up, thanks though! the diamond shape are a lot more readily available still I guess since that's all the dealership could find.

Looking for the lower grille insert that's in the bumper cover. GM P/N 89025752 is discontinued through GM.

does the bumper cover still have the grille inserts?

I love my 06, mine has a sunroof as well and seem much harder to find. The 06 does have a much better rear end (14 bolt instead of 10 bolt) and has a 4L65 trans vs the 4L60. 06 will already have electric fans also. If price is irrelevant than it comes down to preference. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Very true, I guess if you "try" you can break anything. I think my concern was that this could be a common issue with the 60, and that the 80 would illeviate it if it was.

So I've been reading and it seems most people like doing the 4l80 upgrade over a 4l60 rebuild. Has anyone done it on a RWD yet, everything I finds is for you AWD guys? I know most of the stuff I won't need thats AWD specific, but I'm curious to what I WILL need. Does anyone know? Trying to get all the info I can because I really want to do this right the first time. Thanks for any help.

Is the 4l80 any more reliable...when it comes to a situation like this?

So I'm trying to find out what may have caused my servo's to break the trans housing and come out the side of the trans?? Normal driving...maybe 45 or 50 mph.....it downshifted to pass a car in front of me and that was all she wrote....anyone seen this before or know what could have caused it?? It does have a Transgo HD-2 kit, and corvette and billet servos.

So I'm trying to figure out which brand HID kit to get. I've had a set of Rikensport low beams for about 5 years and a ballast finally quit on me. I love them but can't find them anywhere. So as I said before I'm trying to find another brand that would be equivalent Low warm-up time is one of the biggest things I'm looking for...the Rikensports were almost immediate, and also quality and reliability.

Thanks for the info on the lifters. I'm gonna talk to a couple race shops around my area and see what they think.

aah...well I do have my intercooler down behind the valance under the bumper, and I just added 2 6" fans to it.....

how do you like the gt2-3? i'm looking at swapping cams myself and was looking at that cam and the gt9

would swapping to the 90mm TB and J-tube help the blower out at all?

Thanks for the info man, I've never worked with the LS motors, just the old small block for the most part. I did read a thread a while back about the lifters staying in place when you pull the cam...does that sound right? Also I'm trying to decide which cam to use, I'm looking at the Lingenfelter gt2-3 and the gt9. Has anyone used either of thse cams?

I came up with the Hp number by my Rwhp and figuring an 18% loss. I'm only worried about the added Hp being too much for the bottom end, thats about all, and I had Blackbear do the tune I have now so I'll have them do it again after the swap. Was already planning on changing the springs, so if the pushrods are highly recommended then I can drop those in too. Are the stock ones fairly week.

So I've recently been contemplating putting a cam in when I get home in Feb., but I am concerned with how strong the stock bottom end is. No existing problems at all, but I'm already at approx. 550hp on the motor with the current setup. I really want to throw a cam in it but I don't want it to be unreliable either. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Is it just me or does 10-11lbs seem high for the setup?? I've got a mp112 with a 2.8 pulley and i'm only makin about 8lbs.

z06 is a great upgrade and looks awesome....i did it to mine about a year ago
