I had the same service brake booster light on. But my brakes were fine. Drove me nuts. I changed the pump that's on the booster and now it's fine. The pump would make some noise at start up but I never saw any difference in my brakes.

Look at the interior.

I did the "shaft stroke" a couple different times over the last two years and it was a temporary fix, but would come back after around 15000 miles. Yesterday I just went and replaced my steering shaft in my 03 with a Dorman (OE Solutions) 425-176 Steering Shaft I got on ebay for $54.89 shipped. Day and night difference even when compared to "shaft stroke" quick fix. No more clunk, steering feels tight, and no more slight highway vibrations! I just put new tires on a couple weeks ago and it feels like a new truck after doing the shaft replace too. The old shaft was so loose that when I turned it upside down it would quickly slide to full extension. The new one has to be pulled to slide. Problem solved.

Mine is the US Speedo ss blue numbers, with blue needles, satin hubs. And an escalade chrome bevel.

Those look great. How much better does it stop with that setup?

If the arrow won't reset it, the pedal technique will.

I bought my bezel from US Speedo. I added the ss face and blue needles I got off ebay. Blue color needles and face match the other dash light pretty close.

Help Needed With Russell Braided Brake Line Kit
team3and8 replied to Quik's topic in Suspension & Brakes
I used that same set on my 03 z71 w/4wd. Maybe a different part number if your truck isn't 4wd. -
Voted. Those are all real nice trucks. good luck to all.

If they are putting in a new gauge cluster, see if they will swap the faces for you. All there is to do is swap the white one from yours to the new one. I changed mine to stainless and it was an easy swap.

Great info, Thanks.

Very nice looking SS. Good luck with the sale.

All you need to mount them is make a couple brackets and you won't have to cut your ducts. Not sure about the wiring. Do a search for mounting. I did it in my 03 z71 when I added a SS front on mine.

That looks like alot of fun.
