I got a new intercooler We went to the track and mrs drove, first run 11.2 , and had to abort her second run because she got the truck a little bit sideways . Then it was rain stop play. The good news is the inlet air temps were half that of last year. Should be good for more boost this season. looking for some lighter wheels and drag radials now. Does anyone know if 18" rims will go over SSBC 14' rotors and suggestions for rims and tires much appreciated.
  4. Well done on getting into the ten's, I know it takes a lot to get there.Your ticket and mine are more or less the same. I have done a few mods over winter so hoping to improve this year, still got a cage to sort out though.
  5. I Quite liked the idea of the strange street/strip kit you mentioned NolletSSS , so I sent strange an e-mail asking the ? and they say they don't do a kit that fits our trucks at all. I will have to see what Moser have to say if they don't do a kit I will have to see about getting one made over here in the UK
  6. 2004 ss awd 10 bolt, anyone done a c clip delete and if so do you have any part numbers. I have done a bit of research and it seems there are two different size bearings on the 10 bolts, does anyone know the size of the bearing on our trucks. I am putting quite a bit of hp to the wheels now and feel this is something I should do. Any help much appreciated.
  7. Congrats on getting into the tens, I know it takes a lot of work to do.

Stock wheels and tires,I bet the tires are the original ones from new, trucks only done 22k miles. I would like to get some lighter weight rims and some drag radials, can't just buy that sort of stuff over here though have to ship it over from the states.

Thanks guys, takes quite a bit to make these big trucks run that fast, I need to get the iat's down at the top of the track, it's pulling quite a bit of timing. Bigger intercooler on the shopping list and perhaps another meth nozzle

My partner raced my truck at York raceway on Monday, she was running mid 11's and getting quicker so we turned the boost up a bit for her last run and she did this,

Cheers Guys, The motor is a LSX 427 twin turbo gt 35r, with a FLT level 5 4l80e, Aeromotive eliminator fuel pump -12 feed -10 return, 2 piece steel prop shaft and diff brace. SSS in the UK I know of four two black two blue, two are members on here Eamonnechevy (He's sold his sss and bought a bentley) and Gary. Rule of thumb for us Brits for buying states side is whatever it costs $ convert to £ . I paid $20K for my truck in 06 with 14K on it after shipping and taxes it was about £20K engine dyno rolling road dyne
