  1. Hey guys, I know it’s been 2-3 years since I’ve posted but I used to have a ’06 SS with 200shot nitrous, h&c, 6 piston baer brakes, all the basic bolt-ons. I miss it quite a bit and wish I had never sold it. I sold it for something a little more mobile and economical, as that is what it called for at the time. I picked up a Mazdaspeed3; fun little car not to mention it ran 13.7s out of the box. Traded that and now I’m rolling a ’09 Z06 with some goodies. Anyway, I’m interested in picking up another truck! While this may not relate to the SS forum, I do believe that you guys are some of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to the different engines available, plus, I just like the forum. So without further ado - I’m looking to pick up a 2009/10 Reg. Cab, standard bed Silverado in a 5.3L or 4.8L. My question is: Does anyone know if the engine RPO codes have changed, and if so what to? I remember the LQ4 and LQ9, and I think the 5.3 was like LM7 or LR4. 2ND: Id like to find the engine specifications for the 2009 engines. Chevrolet seems to have taken them down from their site; things like bore, stroke, engine rpo codes. 3RD: Any difference in auto transmissions between the 4.8 and 5.3? What are they using these days? What are they good for horsepower wise? I realize sooner or later Ill have to upgrade to a 4l80e but I'm just wondering what the stock limitations are. My intent, if you're wondering, is to put some of my old Silverado parts and Z06 parts to good use. Your help is much appreciated!
  2. Genx 1 kit NIB 275.00 shipped. Normally 349.00+s/h (no purge on this kit) NX bottle opener NIB 200.00 shipped. Normally 239.00+s/h HID 9006 (low beams) kit. McCulloch kit. 12,000k. NEW. 275.00 shipped. Normally 339.99+s/h from www.xenonking.com 1pc MAFS nitrous kit w/ 10lb bottle (normal wear on the bottle). Used for aprox. 6 months, extra jetting included. Probably should replace the o-rings on the solenoids or just send them in to NX, they'll do it for free on this kit. Normally 830.00 from NX. 450.00shipped. Quite a few people on here can vouch for me from my past sales on here, or you can do a search. Let me know if you want anything because this stuff will be going on ebay and craigslist soon. Thanks, Bauker
  3. Truck’s sold guys. Was able to sell it for 27,500 with 28k miles plus I sold the brakes separate. Picked up a MazdaSpeed3 for invoice with a preinstalled cai.
  4. Which is horrible resale. Call me crazy but the owners of these vehicles control the market. The cars have shitty resale because the people who have owned them sell them for nothing; mostly because they don’t know any better, they’re uneducated, or hard up for cash. This is typical of most GM owners. I could go on for hours about the system and statistics, but I won’t. Most places like Kelly blue book attain their info from auto auctions, whether it is repo auctions or whatever. Is that a system you would like to base the value of your car by? Time is not a concern for me, so I figured Id price it competitively (accounting for mileage, but not the modifications) with those found on autotader and ebay. I buy and sell vehicles by at least two a year, and I personally never use kbb to tell me what a vehicle is worth. I don’t expect to sell it to anyone here either. And before anyone flames me about controlling the market, take the supra for instance. GM would have great resale if it wasn’t for the people who own them. Remember that when you go to sell your car.
  5. And I think your price is too low. Check autotrader and you will find that mine is considerable lower... Unless you find the one missing body panels and with 16 wheels, that's a steaming deal right there. And notice it says 29kobo. I will take 28k.
  6. 110.00 shipped. Any cheaper and I'm keeping it for my future kids goped.
  7. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/car/279382227.html Forsale as of today. Ill get more pictures tomorrow when it's light out. Just got it fully detailed inside and out, including the engine bay. She looks like new.
  8. Do it yourself, it's easy. I left the connectorson there and quick connects, just find the ground on the driver side of the block, and the + right next to it. Next, wire up the WOT switch by tapping into the correct TB wire, then run a switch to the interior and a + 12 source and ground. Done. It's like 7 wires total, I believe. Cutting the MAFS in half is already done and included. Getting through the firewall and routing/mounting the nitrous tank/line will be more time consuming. I wouldn’t leave this in anyone else’s hands, you need to take it to get dyno tuned with a wideband, to figure out which jetting is correct so that you don't run lean. Someone who installs this won’t care and just use it to verify it works, not knowing what kind of damage they’re doing.
  9. Also doubles as a cheese grater or bug catcher. Call now, this deal won't last!
  10. Did payment work out ok? I just got to work and see payment for the fronts but I'm still waiting on payment for the rears. Fronts will ship tomorrow since the brakes are at home and I won't get there until late. I have no doubt Ill be seeing payment for the rears shortly, so consider these items sold. Thanks guys, Rick
  11. I'm not sure... I thought you could just to the ignition reset process....
  12. Used it for about 6 months. Adjustable from 35-200shot. I'm selling it with the MAFS installed, all you have to do is swap them. The bottle has normal usage wear from the brackets, otherwise the kit is in great condition. It also has the programmable WOT switch. Sells for 830.00 on NX website. On a 150shot I made 440rwhp/585rwtq. Here's the kit. Had a lot of fun taking out Vettes and Bentley GTs. http://www.shopatron.com/product/product_i...9410.9718.0.0.0 500.00
