  1. Its hard to believe that some people can be so ignorant! One of the comments from the pic about the Tsunami, some tool was blaming the US for that?!?! WTF?!! anyways: some of those pics are very moving, its neat to know a little history behind them as well.
  2. I'd change the oil before you put a clutch in. if the oil is too light IE: 5w30, the clutch will "slip." put some of the reccomended oil in and try that out. Motorcyle oil tends to be thicker and thats what helps the clutch to "stick" when engaged. looks like a sweet deal though. My uncle had a bike like that when i was a kid... it was pretty cool
  3. keep the car, stop modding the truck. If i had known what i do now, i would have a blower and a t56 in my 69 SS 396 el camino, but instead, i waste money on my DD to make it "fast" lol. I'm trying to be conservative with my new denali, and only doing a couple cosmetic goodies to set it apart from the rest then, i'm going to concentrate on gathering parts for a Procharger install.
  4. I'm suprised it took 42psi... i've seen alot of stock honda motors grenade after about 8psi lol! I guess if the AFR and timing are just right one could run some pretty good boost safely
  5. gnarly!! been there... just ran them over and i was going probably half as fast. lol
  6. Yes it is AWD. With the Vortec Max and 4.10 gears... just like an SS but a crew cab lol the only difference in the drivetrain is the transfer case... the x-fer case in the ss is 100% gear driven and engaged all the time and the denali i believe is clutch driven and is only engaged in when it slips or when torque is applied or something silly like that lol
  7. Camaro!! 100% the Maro, I'm sure they're lighter and have just as much power= faster! And besides they are sexy!
  8. I suggest you use the "SEARCH" feature... there are literally hundreds of threads on Cold Air Intakes lol good luck, as far as the Fujita intake goes.... looks like it belongs on a honda, you want something that will keep the heat out of your intake and allow more air to be drawn. Just my $0.02
  9. wheel gap will soon be a thing of the past... gonna do a 2/3 drop REAL soon. As far as the Nerf bars go, I'm going to keep them for now, they are kinda out of the "sport truck" scene, but this is a "luxury sport truck", so I'm thinkin they're okay lol
  10. I got the wheel at: www.wooddashexperts.com the color is a good match and the wood grain is pretty nice. not as nice as the autowoods but still good quality.
  11. Got an 07 Denali Sierra Classic a couple of weeks ago, and i wasnt really feeling the stock 20's so i ordered some new rims and tires Monday and they came in today. They are 22x9.5 Boss 330's and Toyo Proxes II 305/40R22 cell phone pic: so what do you guys think? oh i also bought a new wood grain steering wheel that matches the black cherry on my factory dash bezel, but haven't had a chance to get it installed.
  12. just change the belt.. its quick, easy and most often done only when there is a problem. IMO... i would change the belt every 45-50k miles just to prevent any mishaps
  13. Looking good Dave. Those pistons almost look too good to hide in the cylinders... they are handsome ha ha
  14. lol... she is no $1,000,000 piece of ass... maybe $100 if she were lucky!
  15. anyone ever seen an SS-Duramax-2500HD?? some clown has SS badges on his D-max work truck running around here lol... ext. cab/Long bed, with a service light on top... lol some people

lookin slick there Quik. I am anxious to see the numbers with this setup. So do you think you'll be in the 10's with this?? btw: is that a lengenfelter launch control i see??
  17. Sent you a PM Art. Lookin forward to a pair if all is kosher.
  18. It should, but i'm not certain. I forget what the side covers mount to...
  19. no LQ4 here... those are for sissies... lol all LQ9. 2007 had a Vortec MAX package... guess which one i got
  20. I still have the TBSS, but it is for sale. lol
  21. Hey man, Sorry for your loss. I always hated loosing a pet. Dogs are great companions and each are different, so they are very easy to get attatched to.
  22. I'm gonna stay relatively low key with this truck. Gonna tint the windows (a must), Remove the side moldings, take the chrome door handles off, do a HI-4 headlight conversion, HID low beams, Volant CAI, Taylor Wires, Optima Red Top, and some LED tail lamps. I may get some 2" drop shackels for the rear to level out the ride a lil, just so the rear don't look like its tied to a hot air baloon. I'm kinda on the fence about the nerf bars at the moment, they are rather "old manish" but they really don't bother me right now. It was a bit rough going from red to black... cause no matter how hard you try, there is always something wrong with black. Red was an easy color to keep sexy cause all you really needed to do was smudge some wax on it and it always looked good when clean. White is another low maintenence color, but will show abuse after time, so I cant get too lax with it, or it will look like crap shortly. Luckily I still have my SSS stock wheels, so those will be my winter wheels. I think I'm gonna have them powder-coated either black or gun-metal grey. I kinda like the sinister wheels on white. lol Thanks for the compliments everyone, I will get some decent pictures up of the new machine once i snap some with my camera.
  23. Well, as some of you know, in February my SSS burned and went bye bye, and I "replaced" it with an SS Trailblazer which was fun for about 2 weeks and then i started to feel the empty spot again, cause the TBSS just isnt a truck and I'm a truck guy, so i had needs!! I put some goodies in the TBSS to try and fill the empty spot with a fookin quick DD SUV but still had the same empty feeling. So the other day I decide to clean up the TBSS and put it out for sale and We get this 2007 Classic Sierra Denali in that is just tits... So i checked it out, and did a little soul searching and pulled the trigger on it this afternoon. I'm very excited cause its like a crew cab SS and its still very classy and clean. Sorry this is just a lousy phone pic:
  24. I just don't add fuel to the fire. I try to keep a low profile these days and it works pretty good... occasionally i will piss someone off driving but i could care less, if it really bothers them they can try to keep up, but there aren't many daily driven cars around here that will hang with my TBSS. If all else fails I always have my .40 Glock
