  3. sick car man! Needs some nice forged rims though... just doesnt look like you yet burnout pics???
  4. no longer available... mods can erase this thread/lock etc. i'm tired of being bugged about these
  5. thats the idea behind the 700... LD baby... reach out and touch stuff... i guess if i really wanted to get xtreme i should've bought a .50 or a 338 edge or something, but 500 is a long ways away... so i think that is plenty for what i need it for. Mostly gonna just shoot, but will use it hunting some, so it will be a great all around rifle
  6. My buddy has a 05 GMC Sierra 1500hd with the 6L and he got a superchips programmer, and we plug it in and nothing happens... so i plug it into my 07 Sierra Denali Classic and it works just fine... ??? I guess my question is, WTF? what could be causing the OBDII port to not be working? His spedo is pegged (stupid thing) and that's the only thing i can find that might be causing the issue.... anyone ran into this???
  7. we are all thinkin of your mom, you and your family. Really hope things work out
  8. pic of an ak, not mine, but looks exactly like it: the stock is folded under in this pic, but folds out and looks pretty cool
  9. mmmm.... small world right there lol I'm def gonna have to take you up on some 175's... did a lil reading and they will prolbly work quite well send me a pm if your real serious about hookin a guy up ;)
  10. sounds like a nice setup! I plan on using the same ammo, the Sierra Match King's are really the best shooting bullets that i've found without getting into the pricey custom stuff. I was wanting to do the BDC knob like you have, but i plan getting the rifle zero'd with the SMK, but also plan on using some cheaper 168 winchester bulk ammo for gopher hunting, so with different ammo (different Velocity and Ballistic Coefficient's) they will be slightly off, so i can adjust with the M1 knobs and set it back to 0 when i go back to the SMK's. I have a buddy who is really quite knowledgeable with precision LD shooting, and he has helped me get a good start into getting the right stuff the first time. I was wanting to stay under $1k with rifle and scope, but he talked me into doing it right the first time, and from what i've read and heard, my setup should be pretty good for what i intend on doing with the rifle, so i am happy i spent the extra cash to do it right. He's got a fancy little palm pilot with a program that you can put the velocity, bullet weight and BC into and it will calculate the drop at XXX yards and also you can put the wind value in and it will calculate the windage as well. We plan on shooting with that to really dial in and have some fun while doing it here's a neat little video for you fella's...
  11. Mostly just for LD shooting and recreation, but i do plan on shooting a deer with it this year, hoping for something at 500 yds + I have a plain old ruger m77 mkII .270 with a 4-10 power weaver scope that i used for some ld shooting about a month ago, and i was pretty impressed with that. We were shooting a 2'x2' gong at 516 yards, and i was hitting it 4 out of 5 times with some old 100gr spear points i've had for about 10 years, and with the new rifle, once its dialed in, i should easily hit it 5 for 5, with a little better ammo and some practice that is ;)
  12. 12 valve baby! that would be tits... boost it up with some bigger turbo(s), have the head worked over, and you can run 50 psi boost all day long and make wads of toque, along with some respectable hp. That would be neat, i really want a k5 blazer with a 12 valve and some 1 ton axles, it would get great fuel economy and have more power than i know what to do with
  13. Picked up a new Remington 700 VTR .308 last week and put a Leupold VX III 4.5-14x40 LR scope with custom M1 style knobs on it with PRW rings and bases. I'm very excited about it and have heard nothing but good things about the rifle, which for a factory rifle shoots well as some more expensive custom rifles. I plan on shooting some 168 grain Sierra Match hollow point boat tail bullets through it and get it dialed in for some LR shooting, and hopefully it will shoot reasonably accurate out to 700-800 yrds. Also picked up a new AK47 with a folding stock, but have no pics of it as of yet
  14. those are a snazzy car. They are rather good looking and suprisingly quick for a "Honda"
  15. the BLL is better than the MC, but neither is my bag. I'm just a plain ol BL guy, no tamato/clamato or lime
  16. from ghetto to ghetto fabulous. lol, nice truck. It did a complete cosmetic 180, but IMO not deserving of the SS badges
  17. No the frame is not certified, it is stock with subframe connectors but I'm sure with your connections you could get a cage installed and certified reasonably easily. Open to reasonable offers.
  18. no nitrous, all n/a the CR is around 10.75:1, it will run 91 all day without det., the heads are dart cnc alum. the weight is roughly 3000#'s and i'll try to get some interior pics soon.
