  3. Chase, unfortuneatly i know what its like to have a sick pet. My cat recently was diagnosed with cancer (but thank god they were able to remove it and he's doing ok). Good luck man, i hope it works out for you and him.

  6. Just messing with ya Hank! I know you're a stand up guy, no doubt in my mind had it been anyone you would have lended a helping hand!
  7. Hank, had she not been a cute SS driver but a big burly Dodge Ram driver would you still have helped out?
  8. Thanks for all the replies fellas. I really think my biggest problem with the whole situation is having to leave him there for the entire day, 11hrs is a long time. It just makes me feel like shit...
  9. Thanks Scott, that does help to know that your daughter enjoys going now. How old was she when you first starting taking her? I think him only being 4.5months old is what is really bothering me the most. Good luck man, maybe i'm just a big panzy but i'm so upset i'm sick to my stomach.
  10. haha just caught that deer reference lol
  11. Oh hey guys, thank you very much for the reassuring words. I'm not really concerned with the daycare itself because our best friends have a 13month old that has been going there for awhile now and they are pleased with the facility and the staff.
  12. Do you or did you have to put your children in daycare? If so, how did you deal with it? My son (4.5months old) has to go to daycare now, today was his first day. I'm sick to my stomach, and cried on my way to work. I hate it. I hate having to put him in daycare so his mother and I can go to work. I hate it more than i've ever hated anything in my entire life. He has to be there for 11hrs a day, she drops him off at 6am and i pick him up at 5pm. We have no other choice, we can't afford to live if we both do not work. I'm sure they treat him ok, but how do i know they are not mean to him when he cries? He sleeps very good at night, but does not nap well during the day and becomes very fussy at times. Are they going to get upset with him and punish him or ignore him? I'm really worked up over this. I'm seriously contemplating selling my truck so we can afford for her to stay home with him for another year or so. Right now she is only working 32hrs a week as an RN, going to school 1 day a week, and does clinical for her doctorate degree 2 days a week. I have a 40hr week job working 7a-4p and work an hour away from home. This is a nightmare and i can't see myself letting him continue in daycare like this, i just hate it. Has anyone ever had to deal with this type of situation and could you give me any advice?
  13. wow, that really is bad luck. sorry to hear that man, but it could have been worse, at least you didn't get hurt or hit anyone else.
  14. Thanks Hank! Nah, he hasn't taken it out yet, he's too busy chewing on his fingers! LOL Oh, and my next purchase for the truck:
  15. I bought this wheel over a year ago and finally got around to installing it on saturday. Thanks to wkdivr for giving me a hand and supplying the steering wheel puller. It was actually really easy to install and turned out pretty nice. I still have mixed feelings on it though, i reallly like the look of it, but the factory wheel is leather wrapped which i really like where this one is not. All buttons and horn and air bag still function. Oh, and i also had some help from my little man wearing Camo!
  16. Yep, its about damn time i had a chance to get out and enjoy the truck. It sits in the garage way too much the past couple years. I sure did have a blast sunday.
  17. Oh, i also forgot to mention Rockhead's truck got hit saturday night, hit and run!
  18. Alright, so we're cruising home from the show, just stopped to get gas and had gotten back on the turnpike. Just cranked up the volume on the DVD (Fast N Furious in HD Widescreen) and got comfortable in the drivers seat. Passenger is watching the movie on the dash, backseat passenger fell asleep already lol. All of a sudden, my temp gauge sky rockets and bells are dinging, CEL, truck dies. I'm like "oh **** now what". I coast to the side of the road, pop the hood and find my shit is STEAMING hot. Coolant leaking everywhere, all over my truck, tailgate, and everyone behind me on the turnpike LOL. After a second of troubleshooting we found the lower radiator hose had fallen off because the clamp was not on all the way. Now keep in mind that hose has not been off the radiator since "the wreck" rebuild completed in August 2007. I have no idea how it hung on this long because it looked like the clamp was barely on to begin with. So anyway, no big deal, the clamp was still on the hose and wkdivr was still up at Summit hanging out with Rockhead (because myself, wild2003ss, Uncle Tom, Kenny, and Tom G. left early). I call up my buddy ole pal wkdivr and he brings some tools and coolant with the quickness. Meanwhile we're "chillin" on the side of I-76 EAST bound and DOWN! Actually, chilllin is not the adjective to use, as it was 92 degrees out LOL. So Bill (wkdivr) arrives about 30mins later and finds us goofin around on the side of the freeway lol. As you all know, there is not much room to work when dealing with the lower rad hose and those GM clamps are a real PITA. We could NOT get it to "lock open". We spent at least an hour, 5 guys, and a set of channel locks later we finally got the clamp on and started filling the rad with coolant. Of course we didn't have enough and got approx .5 miles down the road and it overheated again LOL. Around this time the Ohio state trooper shows up and is acting like a real asshat, but did let us know there was a gas station about a mile up the road and we could get hose clamps and water. Once again my good buddy wkdivr heads up the road and saves the day with the supplies. Not too mention passes us on the way back in the opposite lane laughing his ass off at us goons sitting in the dirt LOL. After that we got it filled up with fluids and went on our merry way without any further incident. WHAT A DAY LOL. When i arrived home, i promptly detailed my truck to get the coolant off and finished my day around 9pm that evening. Needless to say after waking up at 4am to go to that show yesterday, I"M BEAT! It was VERY fun Dan. You missed a Great time, even though the show itself was pretty lame we had Pizza Hut deliver to summit's parking lot lol.
  19. I think we ended up having a pretty good turn out. There were 7 of us, but only 4 trucks in our little group. I had a freakin BLAST though, what a great time! Well, all except for the events that transpired AFTER the show Those in attendance: Holty Scott (wild2003ss) Mark (Rockhead) Bill (wkdivr) Uncle Tom Tom G. Kenny I can't believe i forgot my camera, but i did grab a few photos from another guy that was there.
  20. awesome looking racecar! do you race on dirt or asphalt? usually i can tell by the tires, but it looks like dirt? what are the specs on the motor, chassis, etc?
