  1. I'M lookin at gettin a ZO6. Vin is 1G1YY26E365108823 If anyone could help out, it would be much appreciated!
  2. Wish I could have made it... Had other obligations that day.
  3. Is there any way to troubleshoot the MAF besides using electrical contact cleaner?
  4. Yeah, I've looked at them before and some of them seemed kind of lean but not terrible. The thing is it only really badly misfires at over 4K. So by the time I idle it and back into the driveway to pull the plugs they looks normal.
  5. That's one possibility, but if it were injector related it would have to be more than just one to get multiple misfire. The only reason I haven't pulled the injectors yet is because I have to pull the blower to get to them.
  6. Well, I thought the cats were the problem... But low and behold it's still misfiring like a bitch. It looks like Justin turned all the 02 codes off last time he worked on my tune. The first time I drove it after no cats it ran fine, second time and there-on it got a p0300 epa and a regular p0300. This is the list of what I have done to troubleshoot thus far: - Swapped Plugs NGK TR55's w/NGK tr6's - Swapped Plug Wires and put back on stockers - Swapped Coils around - Did Compression Test and Leakdown test - Checked fuse box for bad grounds - Put in new Walbro 255 fuel pump - New Fuel filter - Seafoam in fuel system and PCV - Ripped Cats off - Put turndowns on open headers so front O2's aren't picking up pure oxygen. Things I have not done: - Swapped rear 02's with front ones (maybe they were bad because of cats backing up.) - Pulled injectors out to clean them - Put stock plugs back in Guys have any more ideas?
  7. Hey guys, I found out the source of my misfire headaches. Bad Magnaflow cats. In fact, the same ones that Chase melted down in his ride. Can someone tell me how to delete the rear o2's with EFI live? I'm running open headers until I get this problem resolved. Thanks
  8. Does anyone know what color the ground wire is for the drivers side coils? Also where does the ground connect to? I've concluded that I have a bad ground feeding my drivers side coils. (At least I assume the Megafuse IGN A provides to the drivers side where I've had most of my problems.) Unlike mine, I checked my brothers truck and there is no voltage on that fuse. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
  9. Haven't checked the MAF yet. Doing Fuel Pump, Filter and Seafoam through the whole system this weekend. Swapped coils, but only moved them around (the #1 where I got a misfire last time I swapped to #5 and 5 to 1.) Now I'm getting multiple misfires. One other thing to mention, I showed my log to Justin and the bank 2 02 is reading really low readings (as low as .014) under acceleration which is really wierd. Bank 1 is totally normal. Part of the reason why I'm attacking the fuel system now.
  10. Just wondering if that would attribute to a misfire. I have been trying to determine the cause of my misfire issues for weeks now. Tonight I was going through the fuse block under the hood and I noticed the Fuse labeled IGN A was showing a voltage of over 10 volts when all the other fuses showed zero. Is that the fuse for the driver side ignition coils? On a side note, the same night I had misfires start my radio and amps have been staying on and I have to turn them off manually. Although that's the least of my concerns.
  11. Well, my dad had a leakdown tester so we went and tested it. The engine was not warm for this though because I already had everything undone and ready to go after the compression test. Here's the results on the leakdown: 1: 7% 2: 5% 3: 9% 4: 5% 5: 12% 6: 7% 7: 14% 8: 6% I pulled the driver side valve cover and everything looks fine that I can tell. Any ideas? I'm about ready to button it up and swap injectors/coils and run it again to see if that may have been a contributing factor.
  12. Well, I did a compression test (since I can't find a leak down tester locally) and here's the results. 1: 185 2: 200 3: 198 4: 190 5: 198 6: 210 7: 196 8: 208 Seems to be okay... I guess it's time to pull a valve cover and take a look.
  13. Well, the good news is I'm driving my s-10 for now. The bad news i'm going to Vegas this weekend so I won't have time to work on it til next weekend.
  14. That's what I preferred but they didn't have them in stock so I put some 55's in instead. Is the heat range difference that dramatic between the two? I figured these would at least be as good as the stocker delco's if not better.
