  1. Thanks for all of the Congratulations everyone!

  2. I think silver would look much better. Only my .02 tho. Still a nice looking car. The BBS wheels would look amazing.
  3. I like the car, and I like the wheels. I just don't like those wheels on that color combo. Too much black. on the wheels.
  4. I bought a set of immaculate covers from him the other day, and received them today. It was quick, they were just as described, the center section still had the parts tag on it. Flawless. I would not hesitate to buy from him again. Already did a test fit, and took them back off to sand down and prep for paint, didnt realize they were such a pain. Anyway, thanks again!
  5. Such a great deal, I just sent the money for them.
  6. Unless you're the 1 from another site he told me about, get in line. My PM was sent 2 days ago.
  7. Looks damn good! Thanks for the pics, now I know what mine will look like in a few weeks.
  8. Thanks, I doubt it. I have the Street Scene cover, and I dont think the cladding looks well with that cover, b/c it is not as wide as the SSS cover. I'm going to be doing a 2/4 soon. And the front end I mentioned.
  9. 2 1/2 ton Rockwells are basically military axles from 6by's. As far as your question, I'd say it depends on where you live, or if you can sell and ship economically.
  10. In the process of getting the new front end painted. 06 Grille and HD hood, the mirror surrounds, and the cowl, all smooth and painted.
  11. Sounds like things are really looking up, good to hear. I know you are a well respected SSS'r, and and a huge help! With that being said, you mentioned something about special fans for the regular cab guys. I'm MORE than interested if this happens, please keep an update on that, if nothing else, please keep me updated on that.!!
  12. Regardless of what kind of truck it is, it's a truck, and I think its damn kewl to see someone use it as a truck, and not baby it like it's not made to do anything but sit in a garage.
  13. Yea, thats a horrible idea. Just sell it, and start over.
  14. I was just sayin, that UPS can handle it. I was not implying that you were ripping anyone off to make a buck.
  15. When I bought my SSS wheels and tires, they came via UPS for about $100 total. From Cali to Kentucky.....Just sayin...
  16. Well, its not an SSS as you all know, but the plans for hopefully sometime this year, after the honeymoon, will be my front end conversion, drop, tires, stereo, and eFans.
  17. I saw the Rotrex System on a W2W truck personally at a Power Tour stop in Nashville a couple years ago, its such a clean setup.
  18. I am interested, but I'd like to see some pics.
  19. I have personally driven this truck, and can vouch for it 100% I LOVE this truck. And it is a steal for the price....
  20. You are correct. The brushed Speed Grilles from Street Scene. Thanks everyone. And yes, I almost got rid of it.
  21. Looks really, good, only thing I'd change, is bring them out the center like the SLP exhaust for the 4th gen Camaros.
  22. I finally got some down time to detail the Silverado, the outside anyway. I am a new Adams Premium Car Care Products follower. I love his stuff. It is very high quality, very easy to use, the customer service is outstanding, and the shine is out of this world. I did a 3 step process on it in about 2.5 hours the other night. Even the stuff on the tires is Adams. If you havent used any, and get an opportunity, you should, you will convert. This is my arsenal, the pads look dirty, b/c this is after I used them. The process is color coded. The liquid you use for each pad, matches the color of the pad. I use them all with my Meguiars DA. Also, these pictures were taken in midday sun, but its all the time I had, so I went for it. *edit* The little dark spots are on my lens I guess, they arent on the truck.
  23. I think BSER, the guy that does the badass rollpans for the SSS's, has done black and red 2 tone.
