  1. http://www.silverado...a-remote-start/ Merry Christmas
  2. If it only does it on iPod, then I would try another ipod
  3. Theres no speaker wires on a gmOs 04. The only wires on it needed are power, Ground, accessory, remote, and illumination. The other wires are navigation outputs.
  4. Which harness is it and which wires are left over.
  5. My bad. It`s labeled W/R for wired remote Pic
  6. Doesnt need to be. But then you deck won't dim when your lights are on.
  7. Switched power comes from the acc wire on the adapter harness. The relay is a standard bosch relay. 85 to amp turn on blue/white 86 and 87 to ground 30 to the e-brake input wire - lt green
  8. The relay for e-brake works good. Done it many times. The steering wheel interface wire is under the steering column light green.
  9. Tough to get a negative lock signal. Might be able to get one in the drivers door module and solder on the the ribbon cable. Or right off the lock motor wire and relaying the reverse polarity feed to a ground pulse is the best bet. All this requires some skill though, not a novice type job. Or you could just hook to the parklight wire which is negative(grey/black at the switch or bcm), but if you unlock the truck twice or the alarm goes off, it'll start. Which bypass are you using? The best advice I can give you is to get a better starter with a remote, better range, more features.
  10. Sounds like its screwed. Just have the four wires hooked up?
  11. Dont up other blues except for blue/white!
  12. Thetes no green wires to hook up. The blues are not needed except for blue/white. The only wires you need on the gmos is red, yellow, black, blue/white.
  13. Thats a new one. Did you hook up VSS to the mute line or something? Which wires are connected on the deck and on the gmos04?
  14. Just retain the rap , amp intergration and chimes. If you want to retain swc or xm you'll new additional. parts
  15. cpuld be a jammed disc. take the head unit out and take the cover off. Carefully pry the discs out. Happened to me a couple years ago. Still works good.
  16. if the relay ia turning on then the switch is probably fine. I think your right about the wiring. Check the fuse. Test for power at the relay. Pin 87 or 30, then if there's power, check under fuseblock for power.
  17. Same here. I'm die-hard GM guy, won't drive anything else.
  18. Yep, keeping the SSS till a new one comes out
  19. 10's or 12's... no problem.
