  1. You have to match digital temp controls to manual temp controls as well. The wiring is completely different for those two systems.

03/04 (dash switch pass.air bag)is different from 05/06 (seat switch pass. Airbag). Any ext cab with leather would work, doesn't need to be an SSS.

Need to be careful about Bose/non bose as well.

  2. If you want extra dark pewter(dark grey) it would have to be '06 or '07 classic only. Silverado/sierra/avalanche only. Wouldn't matter cloth or leather. Non-bose will have tweeters in them. Just an FYI, I couldn't find a heated seat one for my pass. side so i ended up cutting the hole for the switch, ended up being pretty easy.

03-06 and Classic 07 are all the same color (Very Dark Pewter or sometimes called Very Dark Medium Pewter). And it does matter for cloth/leather. There is a panel on the door panel just above the arm rest that is leather if you have leather seats and cloth if you cloth seats.

  3. I don't think the Tahoe/Suburban came in the Dark Grey Pewter. The Sierra and Avalanche did as well as Silverado. You also need to make sure you get Cloth or Leather as they come each way. Then you also need to match up if they have Heated Seats or not as that's an extra cut out in the door panel. Then if you really want to get picky, they can have the Bose logo on the speaker grille if the truck came with Bose speakers.

The rear door panels had two different styles for ext cab. I think the cut off was 99-03 and 04-06. May be have 99-04 and 05-06, been awhile since I had a pair in here.

  4. You'll need to find a compatible operating system for your truck from one that had an 80e. Then email both files to hptuners (if that's what software you run for tuning) and they will do it for you. Then you'll need to run the 2 wires to make the ISS. Pretty simple swap. My tuner wanted to try it with the 60e file and frost harness, my converter won't lock on its own which is why I recommend going straight to the 80e segment...which is what I'm about to have to go back and have done.

Pretty sure you can do this yourself with HPTuners now. I don't think emailing them the files is required anymore.

I would recommend going straight to an 80e segment swap if you can. I am not able to lock my converter up unless it is commanded with hp tuners on the laptop plugged in. Plus you won't need a harness. You only need to make a small 2 wire for the speed sensor. Very easy to do.

You still need a harness with the segment swap. The 4L60E and 4L80E connectors on the transmission are pinned differently so you need to modify the harness to match. You can either by the conversion harness or repin a few connectors. Real easy to repin, took me about 10 minutes on my harness.

  5. Sorry, didn't realize this thread was still active.

If anyone needs one, just shoot me a PM and I can send all the details/pricing. Turn around on a gear is usually about 1 week once I receive it. I can also provide new gears too if necessary.

I resubscribed too so I should get notified of new posts here....not sure why I stopped receiving emails.
