Came off an avalanche. Still a tun of tread left. I didn't measure though. I wasn't sure if anyone on here would be interested or not. I'm not sure what to ask for them...

The guy I bought my SS from now has an 06 Avalanche. It's black, aftermarket chrome rims, magnaflow exhaust, gm navigation etc. I know this threat is worthless without pics but I won't have a chance to get them until sunday sometime and knowing him the way he goes through cars it'll be sold by then. It has no more than 14k miles (I don't know exactly what) he's asking 28,000.00 I'm not sure if that's a really good deal or not because I'm not familiar with them but I got my SS with 900 miles, chrome rims and tires for just under 26!!! Don't ask me how he gets the deals he gets... if anyone is interested let me know. It's a sweet truck. oh yeah, the windows are tinted too.

Well, after doing some searching online. Truckaddons.com has the bedrug (including shipping) for $287.00. Not a TON better than anywhere else but it seems as if (so far) that is the best price I've found. This is the same place that has the Fastback II tonneau cover for like 80 less than stylin concepts.

I'm thinking about finally lowering the truck and was wondering if there was a place around the chicago area that some members have used and would recommend. I'm willing to drive if the place does a good job. I'm sure there's places in the city but from where I live I wouldn't trust ANYONE. I don't know anything about our trucks and suspension... from what I've read a lot of guys have either used the Mgaughty's (spelling???) kit or belltech. From recent posts it seems like beltech is the way to go. Any input would be great. I'm not going to ask the dreaded question of which is better because I know better I'm not looking to slam it to the ground... just maybe a couple of inches.

You'd think! I learned a lesson with not wearing a helmet and that was only riding a small motorcycle when I was younger... Hit a tree branch with my eye socket. If it was a 1/4 of an inch closer to my nose I would prolly wear a patch. To this day I've never got on a bike or anything like that without a helmet. It's a PITA but it's even more of a PITA when your in the hospital with a eye so swollen that you cant see out of it or even open it for that matter. Hope he recovers! I've seen him play in college. He was in our conference (MAC) He's a great player! My mom and I were just talking about how she saw an episode of something with Michael Jordan and he said that he was never even allowed to ride a bike while he was playing. Just to risky. Your paid millions to play the game... cant play with a broken jaw and no teeth... well, you could prolly play with no teeth... you guys get the point though

Truckaddons.com? I'm looking at the Fastback II tonneau that I've always seen on stylinconcepts. Truckaddons has the same cover shipped for about $80.00 less. I was just wondering if anyone has ever bought anything from them. I've purchased from stylin concepts before but didn't feel like it was worth spending 80 more dollars just to be sure. You are right on there! I have 3 duramax diesels for work. I LOVE my SS, but I've thought about getting rid of the payment (since I never get to drive it much anyways) and just drive one of the diesels. A buddy of mine has a dodge diesel and it blows me away everytime I'm in the truck... With a relatively small amount of $ you can make those trucks FLY. Of course that's not taking into account the sticker price

Congrats man! I'm in the same boat. My brother and I are the last ones left to carry on the name as well. He just had a daughter 2 years ago haha. Honestly though, a healthy child is all I'd ask for as well. I used to talk about NEVER wanting to have a daughter... but after I've seen his daughter grow up little by little she's the most adorable thing on the planet. She definately made me rethink the whole no girl thing. Again, congrats!!!

Hmm, in my experience, big talkers are just that: big talkers. I do understand where your coming from though, I'd be upset/worried if my gf got a phone call like that, especially if the guy she was previously involved with was part of a bad crowd. Keep us posted. Hope everything works out! Chad

Congrats on the land. I bought my 2.5 acres a couple years ago. I'm hoping to start building next summer. Theres something about 2+ acres that you almost have to experience to understand. I'm sure you'll love it.
