  1. Yeah I might end up just keeping it I've had it since 2003 I love the truck
  2. 2003 arrival blue 217,000 miles. Interiors immaculate! Well maintained. Paint fade on hood, roof, and tonneau cover. The truck runs great! What do you think it's worth (guessing)? Someone offered me $6,000, and I don't think that's enough? Oh yeah mostly highway miles
  3. Any one know of a good cowl hood that will fit on my 03SSS?
  4. I just threw this code today P0430 I'm not smelling anything. Almost 197, 000 miles.
  5. I'v been a member for a long time and this site is not mobile friendly. I now have a tablet, and enjoying this site again. Anyways I'm looking for another GM site to help me with my 1964 Cheville SS. I've searched and not getting any luck. What is the site fourm that will help me with my 64 SS?
  6. To find out it wasn't even my tranny!!!!!! It was my transfer case. I dont baby the SSS just drop the tranny pan every 50,000 dran and new filter. I'm at 178,000 now! Rolling! The SSS just moved up to the weekend ride a not the Daily D.
  7. 177,000 miles and tranny is toast. It was a good run I'm not mad. I just orderd a new stock tranny with my tax returns. I'm cool with the parts dude at the stillership, he has a red sss. 1,650 with tax came to 1,756. I hope trasfer case is still good? I'll find out soon???
  8. Congratulations on miles! I'm a bit over 165,000. I needed to replace driver side hub, fuel pump, water pump, and shocks. My truck still looks great! These trucks kick @ss! Night and day difference with shock replacement! While you replacing shocks get polyurethane end links and poly bushings for sway bar. Very chep, and truck rides like new. Summit racing.
  9. Thanks for the info! Any one else trying this, the housing pulls out towards you,and the housing has the push button on it.
  10. I can't get the 194 bulb out from the glove box! Any tips or suggestions? I've replaced almost all my lights to leds, drl's, tail lights(v-star), map, dome, courtesy, door panel, license plate, turning signal with load resistors, but I can't change the glove box light!
  11. Its your wheel bearing (hub ). Just put a order in for one on gmdirect.com I think it was around $250 shipped.
  12. 150,000 Fuel pump, high flow water pump, 4 new shocks, new wires and plugs, polly roll bar bushings and end links. just put a order for a F/L wheel hub. Its running great. For those thinking about shocks? do it, eddlebrock shocks and polly bushings on roll bar and end links really made the truck sick. I'm so happy with the SS! I'm looking forward to 200,000!
  13. I came up with this on a road trip, and its on my plates CRUZMSL
