  1. I'd jusy keep it if I was you. These trucks are fine for 2 kids in the back. My buddy has the non LQ9 VHO looking gm version and his kids fit fine. Yeah it;s nice to have four full size doors but you don't need the estra space for kids. If you want adults to be in the back then yeah a SUV is a ton better.
  2. I'd just trade it in. Seems like a good deal with how many miles she has but who knows. Maybe somebody will buy it from you.
  3. Yeah it's an SS. 2003 models had the cloth fabric on the door panels. In 2004 they went to vinyl I think. Poor truck. He took off the SS emblems and put on a 4X4 and some chrome crap and jacked the F%ck out of it
  4. black out the grille and do what you wanted to the wheels. DO NOT black out the front vents as it's part of what makes these trucks a SS. It's different from other chevy bumpers and yours look great with the work you have in them. They pop well against the black paint and to hide them would be a sin
  5. I'd never trade it it. Just sell it if you decide to get something else as a dealership won't give you sqat for your mods. You've got a great truck so I'd just buy something else with a full payment if you can afford it and still really love your truck.
  6. Just wait till that thing falls apart. Dodge/Chrysler is good about stuff breaking/going wrong. I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee for about 5 month lol. Computer went bad after I got it haha. Piece of crap. It did have a nice interior and was very comfortable.
  7. Super nice SS. If I had the cash I'd pick it up.
  8. you guys who say a vette wouldn't get better MPG are crazy haha. Mine C5Z06 does a ton better than my SS but my SS had a supercharger and a ton more mods. I got around 10-12 mpg around town depending on how I drove it. Not much better on the highway. I had a super nice SS but I was ready to get rid of her. After 6 years and a lot of $$$$$, I didn't feel like putting more money into modding to get into the low 12's or even 11's. Plus she had around 92k miles and almost half of those were supercharged so I worried about the engine or trans going south. These trucks are a blast to drive with a SC but it takes a lot of money to make them fast and reliable. Back to the vette. That price is crazy high IMO for a C5Z06 with that many miles. Sure vettes hold their value better than the SS but that price is still too high. If you look around you probably find a lower milage C5Z06 for that price. I had planned on saving and getting a C6Z06 but my DD was giving my $hit and after 4 months she had to go. I guess I'm not a SUV guy. So I found a C5Z06. I didn't want another crazy high almost $600 a month payment like what I had for the SS. Look on the web and see what else you find if you really want a C5Z06. Fun cars to drive for sure. The 6 speed is fun even if you live in a city like me. I love shifting. Car is fun fun fun to drive!!
  9. no more negative feedback option for sellers. I got negative feedback and wanted to leave negative but the negative option is gone for sellers. Sucks because getting a negative for a seller is worse than a negative for a buyer. Oh yeah the buyer deserved it on my auction. ebay sucks balls anymore and so does paypal. buyer can lie and I end up getting money taken out of my account.
  10. I've seen several with low miles like that. most likely the owners never drove it much. That does happen a bit with these cars. I drive mine only when the weather is nice and lately that has been rare. If I didn't drive my daughter to daycare(90 mile trip), my car would have very few miles put on her in a year. The rear ends seem to leak in these cars and pop a little. Mine has done that. Also the power windoe motors like to go out. My driver side is out now but will get replaced soon. Most on the forum think the windows go down to far and cause the motors to get stuck. I've read post on the corvette forum where members have taken the window motor cover off and worked on it a little and they work again. Fun cars to drive. If you test drive it, you will want to buy it. From what I've read most love these car because of the race car feel. The hug the road and the newer models seem a little soft to some. I love mine
  11. yeah guy won't get that much for it. These trucks are not an investment. But I do think they stickered for around $41K-$42k in 2003. I kept my sticker and pretty sure it was $41K. Didn't pay that much but damn I had more than that into it after mods. Still can't believe I spent that much on modding my SS but it was fun and worth it to have a great looking truck that could run with most things on the street(car or truck).
  12. It will as long as I convert the VOB files over to a format it will support. I've also thought of using it, I just have to use a free converter program. I played around with it a little last night.
  13. Silverado SS is the best thing they've made period. GM needs to color match more like they did with the SS. I've got a 2000 Silverado in the driveway and the multi-colored bumper drives me crazy. GM still does the same thing to this very day. I have the 2000 because I like that body style the most. The 2003 models with the funky headlights never grew on me besides the SS. The new body style is alright in the GM models. The Chevy models look messed up with the crazy headlights. I don't know why they didn't put the new tahoe front end on the Silverados. it would look a million times better IMO.
  14. Ok guys, my buddy backed up some of my old football highlight films to DVD and I would like to put some on youtube. The Sony VCR/DVD thing he has did a great job. The only problem is the file format is VOB. I have to edit them to put them on youtube since they only allow for a 15 min video. I think I have to convert the VOB files to something else(mpeg, mp4) before I edit them. I tried 2 free software but they sucked. One wouldn't work on my laptop because of driver/hardware issues. I did find a decent program called AVS Video Editor/Converter that works pretty good. Here's a link to their siteAVS software Have any of you guys heard of this software or used it? I haven't purchased it yet(using trial now) so I was hoping somebody could suggest some video editing software to try out. The AVS software is only $59 which seems reasonable. They offer 18 different programs for that 1 price. The software isn't perfect so let me know what you guys use. Thanks, Jeremy
  15. I think the age of these trucks probably hurts them being sold fast. People now see an 8 yr old truck and don't want to pay $14k. Plus gas keeps going up and these trucks require high octane(91 or 93) gas.
  16. guy who bought my truck was from Maine I think. So if you see the pics in my sig, that's him.
  17. leather or cloth seats? I've got a 2000 3 door. Let me know the shape of the interior. Thanks, Jeremy
  18. Nice truck but you need to make a better ad. The one on CL is spaced out a lot and hard to read. More info than people will want to read through. First thing they look for is mileage, yr, color and simple stuff like that. not trying to be a a-hole, just trying to help you out.
  19. looks like it's still being bid on. Up to $2700 now. Surely there is a reserve or something.
  20. probably asking to much for the miles. If in no hurry, just give it time and see what happens.
  21. good deal for someone. The link says it only has 80K+ miles
  22. Aw just bump it up to Rated R and see some boobs lol. Golf is always good if you guys golf. My buddy did that for his and it was alright. Mine was boobs, beer and more boobs No complaints from me.
  23. Pretty good deal for the miles. Regular silverados go for that or more and the 2003 SS are loaded out pretty much
  24. someone will ask you how much and what mods.
