Well I wouldn't call it a steal because the reserve price hasn't been met and we don't know what the seller has that set at. If he's like most people, it's probably stupid high like $22K. Nice truck though. Ad said it has the ss spoiler and it looks like it has part of the ISS spoiler on the back. Kind of weird somene wouldn't put the spoiler end pieces on.

Badass truck for sure. One of the first to make it into a truck mag I think. I bought the mag when it came out. It's pretty easy to sink a lot of money into one of these trucks. I had over $13K into mine and I didn't do a lot of body mods and no interior stuff done. Really low miles and I doubt you will fine another like it with the low miles and many many mods. Maybe worth around $30K.

I know a guy looking for a LQ4. Let me know if you have any of these ready to go.

Got my SS back in 2004 as a leftover 2003 so I was around 28. Sold her in Feb. of 2010. Heck of a truck and I miss her. Maybe Chevy will bring back the SS but I doubt it.

yeah cool trucks and nice price, if you want to collect it. We've got several trucks on this board for sale that I'd rather have. Rices red SS all tricked out and also super low miles, them Krambos 408 Black SS. Price is good for low miles, I just wouldn't buy it unless I wanted to collect it.

I drove mine in the winter but did end up sliding in ice at 1 mph and hitting the curb which mde a bad spot on one o fmy 22's. I doubt I would ever store her for winter, now the vette she doesn't go out in any bad weather. I got caught out in it once and she hydroplaned at 50 mph. Scared the crap out of me and she had new tires on at the time, just not rain tires I guess lol.

Yeah craigslist does suck. If you were closer I sell you my old truck. Have no need for it. Good luck with the other truck

Good find. Wonder how these would wire up for my 2000 Silverado? My heated seat switch just has hi/lo heat. My driver seat has the rip on the seam and the armrest isn't locked into place so I constantly have to push it in.

They all end up traded or sold sooner or later. I miss mine but I spent 6 years driving her and modding. I hope Chevy will come out with a new Silverado SS in the future. I must say I liked owning a truck that was unique. I don't like driving a vehicle everybody and their mother has. That's just me.

Let us know the pulley size and we'll tell you what your boost should be. If it's got the stock pulley you should hit 5 on the boost gauge. I went with a 3.0 pulley and could hit 7 on my boost gauge. Some se a little more. I think the pulley should have a number on it telling you the pulley size.

I wonder if the last 2006 SS's where labeled 2007 models.

good price for a low mile 2007. Most at dealerships are jacked up so crazy. Trucks holder their value pretty good.

The back is tricky. I'd make sure to see a couple docs. I messed my back up in 1992. I pulled a bunch of muscles on the right side lifting weights for football. Deadlifting 425 lbs(3 sets of 5 reps). Doc just put me on meds(muscles relaxers and such). Probably about 3-5 months later it just got worse. I couldn't sit still and my leg was killing me with shooting pains. One of my coaches friends was a chiro, so I went to his office. x-rays shows my bottom 3 or 4 vertibra and tailbone were all out of place and putting pressure on the nerves. The back of my right ankle had very little feeling in it when they ran their test. They started working on me and got it all lined out. Coaches wouldn't let me deadlift again but I'm fine. I was the only returning RB so they didn't want to chance it. I've been going to them since then for small adjustments but haven't been in 2 years or more since I moved away. I also messed up my neck in college. I think it was 1995 or 1996. Got hit on a kickoff return and compressed the vertibra in my neck. Saw stars at first and didn't notice any pain. 2 days later we traveled for our game and I fell asleep on the bus. When I woke up I felt like I had a crick in my neck. Played the game but ended up at my chiro after the season. My neck was a mess and I'm lucky I didn't break it. When the vetribra compressed, it took the natural curve out of my neck. They got me lined out again. I use to go back for adjustments a few times a year but haven't ben back since I moved.
