  1. Yeah not the engine for the average person lol. The new 5.0 is pretty badass in the new GT's. I'd rather have the new 2013 GT500. Nothing like 650hp stock lol
  2. Yep, I've been searching all over for one. I've found a blue 08 within 80 miles. The same lot has a 09 cyber gray but it has the two tone interior I don't really care for. The other 09 cyber gray is in Texas lol.
  3. Nice Hank. I'm looking for that same color in a 2009 Z06.
  4. I would appreciate it if anybody is close. I don't want you guys traveling a long way to look for me. I wish I was close to the lot. It seems like a small used car place. In a couple weeks I might travel to a dealership in OH to check out a couple. I haven't seen the jet stream blue(08-09 models). They do have a cyber gray 09 but it has that two tone interior I don't care for.
  5. I'd just put nos to your truck and maybe a few trans mods. You can buy used 6.0 on eBay but most are high miles and around $1,500+. Do you have 4X4 or 2X4? AWD is good but 4X4 works great also. A local guy to me has a normal 2003. He put a LQ4(6.0-325hp), SC and supporting bolt-ons then added a small shot of nos and ran 11's. Biggest problem he had was the trans and he had a built FLT. He ended up going with an 80 and called it a day. Truck was still running strong when he sold her. Problem with those mods are they cost major $$$$$, but if you want to go fast in a truck and have it be reliable it cost money. That's why I say I'd just add nos and trans mods(shift kit, servos) and tunning and call it a day.
  6. I sold my 2002 Corvette Z06 so I'm looking at newer Z06's. There is a 2009 located at a dealership in Universal City, TX 78148. I was wondering if there is anybody close to the dealership(Alamo City Autoplex ) who wouldn't mind going by and checking out the car for me? I'm in Lexington, KY so I can only view online pics. If I move forward with buying the Cyber Gray Z06 I'd have it shipped. I don't trust dealers so I was hoping someone local could give it a good look over for me and let me know if they see anythings like scratches or anything else that the dealers pics don't show.
  7. Insurance company will stick it to her. I'd talk to the local police. She broke the law and should be punished for it. Talk to the base cops also and go over their heads if you have to. she must know somebody not to be charged with something. Hit and run and leaving the accident. Makes you wonder if she was drunk or something.
  8. Sr Business Information Developer for Wellpoint
  9. damn that SOB is bent bad. Hope you heal up fast and no other medical problems come from this.
  10. Well at least it was off a nice truck. Some a-hole took 2 off my old 1996 silverado with crappy wheels/rims. Really pissed me off since the truck was nothing special and probably some toothless wonder took them for his ride.
  11. Met with a realtor Monday and I'm thinking of listing my house for sale using www.forsalebyowner.com. Anybody ever use this site before or one like it? They can list it on zillow, yahoo real estate, forsalebyowner.com and realtor.com(6 months) for a one time fee of $549. Details are here: Package Details I don't mind selling it myself if I can save myself the crazy $7K fee I'd have to pay a realtor. They basically want me to take a loss for a house that's in a great area close to everything with $500K houses all around me. I know the housing market is down but location is everything. I'm not looking to make money on the sale. Just like to sell to get closer to my daughter. Let me know what you guys think.
  12. Don't let them screw you. I would not let them reuse bent parts and shit. Get a L now or at least threaten to. Only let OEM parts be used to replace parts. Is the frame bent? I thought if it was the thing was totalled out.
  13. sounded like a good deal. I think I sold my old gray colored SS rims with curb rash for like $400.
  14. That's a good price. People just don't have much cash these days for trucks/cars needing high octane gas. It went up $0.40 here today in KY.
  15. Little high on the S&H there!!
  16. Nothing new. Kids acting stupid. Tebow doesn't do it for attention, he's just praying/giving thanks. Of course stupid people try to make a fad out of it and it's really disrespectful. These kids were just doing it because they are stupid kids and wanted people to look at them IMO.
  17. 2 days ago he told me he had 10 people "waiting" for financing or some type of trade to happen so maybe one went through. I might have to buy a used one and do a ground up build.
  18. If you guys don't buy this thing, I'm going to next year if he still has it.
  19. That's a LQ4 I think. Still a good engine and the 80 would be worth the cost if you need both.
  20. Carl made bunch of brackets way back when a guy selling these on eBay sold a bunch to us as a GP. PM Carl. If he can't make the bracket, there should be a thread on here for the parts needed. I think the original for sale thread has the mounting parts you can buy at Lowes. I bought all my parts from Lowes and made my own brackets, then sold the truck before getting it installed.
  21. In the magazine the truck was featured in, the original owner and some L owners were having words on forums I think.
  22. He's got it back up for sale on eBay and it's a NO-RESERVE auction. Here's the link: Badass 11 sec SS I assume he will end it early if the price is way too low as he has something listed at the bottom of the auction, that would help him do so. Either way this is a super clean, low mile 11 sec SS. I would say he would let it go for a good price(High 20K Range). Just my opinion. Anyone looking for one of the nicest SS around, I'd be checking this one out. I'd put it on my short list of best every SS's. My Top 10 SS's list would include this.
  23. Need to give more details on what you have. I'd have a detailed list of the parts. Contact the previous owner of the blower and ask them for the details on the setup. As for the meth kit, I'd list details on that to. A detailed ad would help your sell a lot better. Otherwise you'll get a bunch of emails and calls asking for details if they really are thinking about buying.
