  2. danny, pics for you.. picture number 565 is the one tube coming off the xcase that i thought was leaking but i dont think so, this one goes forward, and i dont see a break in it. it travels right above the drive shaft, and its the wettest at the yoke.

  10. ok. first 40 mile trip with the new seal, and SO FAR.. first glance from the parking lot at work, is the tranfer case looks dry. ill look closer at it when i get home, but usually by this time i see fluid dripping off the case, so I may have found the cause.. and the cure.

  13. i just got some efans for my 2003 SS. i cant yet install them until i find a tuner in IL that can turn them on in my PCM. so.. anyone?
  14. 42 bucks, and the shop has the new seal in place. even they said it was a hard seal to replace. so , after the next semi long trip, ill re check for tranny fluid under the truck to see if i was right on this being the cause..

  18. ive been working on this for 3 hours how in the HELL do you get that seal out? im at a point where ive tried so many things that ive damaged the seal that im at a point of no return but its friggin so hard to get out. HELP.. anyone in , around, close to IL?? HELP. .please?? i had to take a break to make dinner cuz im getting a food migraine, but im stranded half in, and half out of my garage... HELP. im in chat .. the front drive shaft oil oil from the transfer case is what im working on.
