Mine is blowing hot as hell all the time. Is that low R-134? Should I just add some?
  2. Recently I had a Viper 791 installed, with proximity, glass break, and standard shock sensor. My alarm constantly falses on the proximity. Can someone tell me which of the two screws adjusts the outer ring? The screw closest to the light on the sensor or farther?
  3. Where in Henderson? I live in North Las Vegas. Lucky for me no one ever messed with my truck, two weeks ago I put the 791 Viper in. I have stayed in my GF's apartment before in Henderson; off Sunset and Annie Oakley never had a problem.
  4. Did you have an alarm? If so what kind? Did it go off? Sorry for your loss, the thaught of that happening makes me sick.
  5. Well, you can buy a copy of Autotap for your laptop/computer for $199 and it's capabilities are far better. But it would take a lot of velcro to mount your laptop to your dash. :joker: Mr. P. Correct me if I am wrong but, Autotap will only work on the vehicle you match it too?
  6. I am not the sharpest tool in the shed, would this record enough data to enable a tuner (PCM4LESS) to make a better tune? Oh and if you go on to their web site our trucks are not listed on the vehicles supported list.
  7. Jury is still out on the PCV valve, several have said the new Fram Z06 valve is an improvement, others say it's not enough to matter and a catch can is still preferred and definitely required on FI motors. Mr. P. Its never been anwsered, did you replace your plugs? If so with what?
  8. You sir are my NEW bestest friend. 1 gallon in full tank = 5.3 ounces SeaFoam / gallon of gas 1.5 cans in 1/4-tank = 4 ounces SeaFoam / gallon of gas (what I recommend for injector cleaning) 0.5 gals in 1/2-tank = 2.6 ounces SeaFoam / gallon of gas 1 can in 3/4 tank = 1 ounce SeaFoam / gallon of gas (this is the '5000-mile directions' on the can) So yeah a 1/2-gallon in a 1/2-tank of fuel should continue to clean very well and then drop back to a regular injector cleaning schedule (1 can in 3/4-tank of gas every 5000-miles). Mr. P. Just start thinking about what you need. I am not sure if its 10 or 15%, but I know I get hooked up. Oh and do you see a need to replace the PCV valve?
  9. LOL, so what about a half gallon in a full tank? I get a military discount at most of the auto places including Oreilly's. I think I paid a little over 3$ for a can of Sea Foam. Anything you need Mr. P?
  10. Call me an idiot but how many cans do you put in a full tank to make a strong but safe mixure? I already did a treatment last week but I am sure have a substantial build up considering I have NEVER run anything less then 90 octane. Plus I am going to have a good drive this weekend to let it work.
  11. Well, I followed the trusty advice from MisterP and Fox. And I am good to go again. I disconnected the battery and waited about 20 mins. Reconnected and good to go. Took a quick test drive around base no problems yet. I am going out to dinner in a bit. So if any issues come up I will let you know. WOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO was nervous there for a second.
  12. How could they even tell if you have a tune?
