  2. Thanks Chris.. You are correct. From the factory you have 110-135 amps of alternator. On a given day of driving you are probably only using 60-70 of those amps. From here you turn on your seat heater and take 15ams more, then the passenger turns there seat heater on and take 15 more. Then you turn on the rear defrost and take another 15amps and then radio takes another 15amps. All of a sudden you are using the entire output of the alternator. Then you turn on the headlights.. at this point you are using more than than the alternator can offer and you are drawing from the battery. (this is not good) A high output alternator keeps your batteries from being drained during high use. Keeps headlights from dimming during heavy use, (aftermarket stereo) Mine just has more bells and whistles on it than most (adjustability and such) Thanks again Chris!
  3. They gave me 24k for the thing as it stood.. not too bad!
  4. Well Frank at Revolution would have helped me with all of that work, but it really came down to wanting a new project as well as consolidating my garage down to just 1 car again. Another big reason is that i have been approved for Lasik eye surgury and needed some cash to get that done. I have not been able to see with out thick glasses since the 3rd grade and I am an "exellent canidate"
